We sat down talking about how amazing it was playing in front of a crowd. The door opened and in limped the boys I had spent the whole day with. "You were amazing! Oh my god, my girlfriend is so cool." Jeremiah said running to me so the other guys couldn't hear. "Girlfriend?" I said, raising my eyebrow. Jeremiah's face fell, "I haven't asked you? Shit." I laughed putting my hands on his face "You're so cute. But you have to ask me." I smiled at him. I looked at the group that still stood in amazement at the backstage room. Trip walked forward, "Oh my god you're dating Ace Frehley." We all gave him what the fuck faces. "No Trip you dumbass my uncle is Peter." I said. "So you're telling me there was no connection there? Come on."He asked.

"No! He's my uncle as well." Trip nodded and gave me a wink. Hawk walked towards me. "I'm sorry for being a dick i was mad with Trip's dumbass losing the tickets and just everything getting worse. I know you're amazing and a good friend, not to mention a badass rocker." I laughed at the last part. "It's okay and I understand. Just so you know I only regret not hitting you hard enough." I said smiling. He laughed and nodded. I felt Jeremiah put his arm around my shoulder. "Don't worry I got some left hooks in for you." He smiled like a child. "Why are your dumbasses beat up," I questioned. Jeremiah then cowered away. "Jam had a great idea to beat ourselves up and say we got mugged. When they didn't believe us Trip's dumbass had called out these 3 fucking gorillas with a little dude out who had stolen his wallet." Hawk explained. I then explained to them I found a way to bring them in which meant they hurt themselves for nothing.

A stage manager walked in. "Miss.Jensen? Peter will like to bring you on stage for the next song which is 'Beth'" I looked at the boys and they all encouraged me to go. I walked on stage sitting on the piano. I sat and closed my eyes taking in the screams of the fans. I began playing the melody I helped write. There was a mic put in front of me and I looked at my uncle and he gave me a warm smile.

"Beth I hear you calling but I can't go home right now. Me and the boys are playing and we just can't find the sound.

Just a few more hours and I'll be right home to you.

I think I hear them calling, Oh Beth what can I do?

Beth what can I do?

You say you feel so empty. That our house just ain't a home.

That I'm always somewhere else and you're always there at alone."

I sang with closed eyes. This song I helped write with problems of my own. They were things I heard my father say last to my mom. With my mother struggling in my mind I started tearing up. Finishing the song I stood with my uncle as we bowed. Walking backstage everyone hugged me saying I was amazing.

"I remember you said you helped write that song Dite! It's amazing." Raven said. "Wait really? Who is called Beth?" Jeremiah asked. "We had to find something to rhyme and most people don't know that It's about-" I was stopped by the door bursting open. "APHRODITE ELIZABETH JENSEN!" My mom said as she entered the room. "Me?" I gulped staring at my mother. "Do you know how worried I was? After everything you still betrayed me. My daughter will not be a musician that ends up drugging herself." She yelled. I stared at someone I loved so much. She became what she hated. She was becoming her mom. Jeremiah grabbed my hand giving me comfort. I looked at him remembering how he stood up to his mom. I looked at her standing up. "Best for me? You taking everything I love and am proud of and move me away from people that were my home was the best? I met these guys today and they understand me more than you do! It's my dream to be a rockstar. The people out there loved me. They screamed my name. Thats my future, not some stupid desk job." I yelled feeling anger rise inside of me. "You were getting out of control! What was i supposed to do!? Let my daughter throw her life away? Like-" She yelled back, topping from continuing. "Like who mom? Hm? Dad? There's a difference. He turned to that because it was all he knew but I actually plan to be big and tour the whole world! But don't blame this on me when you could've helped me! I needed a mother, not some church school where they said I deserved to go to hell! God, can't you see! You always said your mother controlled you and crushed your dreams. Why can't you see you're doing the same to me?" She looked at me in shock.
