It's now Tuesday, I didn't speak to that Adam guy yesterday. I didn't get a chance to. Hopefully, I do today. I walk into the auditorium, and everyone is on the stage in small groups. Alex tells me to join a group as we're doing a scene today. She puts me in a group, and I see that Adam is in the group. They are all sat on the stage in a circle, whereas Adam is leaning with his back against the wall on the side of the stage. It looks like he doesn't like anyone. I sit with the group and a ginger girl with frizzy hair and braces loudly introduces herself as Josie Williams. There are three other people in the group. There's a black guy called Tyrone, a blonde haired, tanned girl named Catelyn and a brunette guy with curtains called Mark. I look at Adam who is just staring at us with an annoyed expression. We make eye contact, but I look away as soon as it gets too long for me. The group show me the script and it looks interesting. We get on our feet and start staging it. Adam is just reading the script, but not actually doing anything. As I'm curious, I ask Catelyn "Why isn't Adam joining in?"

Catelyn mutters "Because he's hard work and weird. No one likes him."

"Oh really? How come no one likes him?"

Josie overhears the conversation and loudly whispers, "He's really suspicious. We never know what he's thinking. He could be plotting our death for all we know."

Catelyn lets out a high pitch tone as a laugh, "Yeah. He's so weird. I'd stay away from him if I were you."

I nod and look in his direction. He is staring at us, and I panic, so I look away. We begin doing the scene and he comes over. He slouches in front of us all and lips his teeth, like he's waiting for something.

"Can we help you?" Mark rudely questions, the others laugh.

"I am apart of this group, am I not?" Adam mutters, in kind of a posh voice for someone who lives in Birmingham.

"Yeah man. If you want to be a character, then get involved instead of just leaning against the wall" Tyrone tells him. Adam rolls his eyes.

Adam licks his lips, and his head moves forward as he says, "I will be Collin."

Catelyn scoffs, "You can't just pick and choose who you want to be Adam. Mark is Collin."

"Yeah. I'm Collin for fucks sake" Mark yells.

"No" Adam says in sort of a devilish tone. Kind of hot though.

"Adam stop being annoying, and just pick another character" Tyrone says.

"Mark can be Arthur" Adam declares.

"No! I picked Collin first you knobhead!" Mark yells.

Adam gives Mark a very evil look, and Tyrone tells Mark to calm down. The girls look scared and I just look confused. Adam snorts, his head returns to neutral and his eyebrows move up and down.

"Interesting" Adam says, blankly. He begins to move forward, and Mark and he are centimetres away from each other. Adam is towering over him slightly. The girls move back, and Mark is trying to pretend he isn't scared, but I can clearly see he is scared.

"What are you going to do Adam? You just have to deal with the fact that you can't always have things go your way" Mark tells him, with fear. He gulps and Adam begins to slowly laugh, obviously a fake one though.

"Oh, but you see, things must always go my way" Adam murmurs.

Mark scoffs "Sorry mate, but unfortunately things wont in this situation. Maybe when your parents weren't locked up things would go your way, but not now."

"Dude" Tyrone stops him. Mark looks at him and Tyrone shakes his head.

"What? It's true isn't it?" Mark rudely says.

Adam looks very angry right now. I can see it on his face. He mutters "Leave my parents out of it."

"Why? What are you going to do about it, huh?"

"Cut it out!" Josie warns Mark, but he ignores her and carries on irritating him.

"Seriously Adam, what are you going to do? You can't just kill me. Not in front of everyone" Mark teases.

"I can. I can do anything" Adam tells him. His emotion hasn't changed.

"Well, you wouldn't."

"I would."

"Mark just leave it now. Just be Arthur and move on" Catelyn complains.

"And let him win? Absolutely not. This bastard needs to learn a lesson about things not going his way" Mark says.

"Aw man you're so pathetic. Just be Arthur for fucks sake. It's not a big deal anyway mate. It's only a one scene script. It means nothing" Tyrone impatiently says.

"Ughhh" Mark moans, "Fine. You can be Collin you selfish bastard."

Adam smirks and then drops the script on the floor. He leans in and whispers "I'm going home. I didn't want to be him anyway."

Mark looks very frustrated and is just staring at him, speechless. Adam raises his eye brows and turns around so he's facing all the chairs. Suddenly, his feet start moving and he walks towards the door to leave.

"Adam? Where are you going?" Alex yells and the whole class stares at him, waiting for an answer.

He slowly turns around and speaks in his incredibly hot and posh voice "To swim in my own blood."

I hear a few people makes sounds in disgust and he smirks, leaving the room. Mark looks angry "What the actual fuck is wrong with that kid? I swear to fuck he's going to kill someone one day. I mean, who just says shit like that? And why did he get his way and then leave?"

I clear my throat "I know I have no place to say this, but... maybe you should just leave him alone." When I say this, the group look at me with confusion and almost disgust.

"What?" Tyrone questions.

"Leave him alone? He's a fucking asshole. There's no way I'm leaving him alone" Mark yells.

"Sorry. Fine, forget I said anything" I say, trying to not get people to hate me.

"No, no. I want to hear your reason" Mark tries to intimidate me, walking up to me.

"Mark, stop. She's new" Catelyn tries to stop him.

"That's more of a reason for me to want know what this newbie thinks. Listen yeah, if you want friends, I suggest you stay on our side, okay?"

I ask, "Why? He clearly has some mental health issues."

"Mental health issues my ass. I don't give a shit about what he has. He's rude and he can't just get away with."

"I guess so."

"Yeah, you better agree with me" Mark looks me up and down.

I sigh, and try to let him get to me. For the rest of the lesson, we do this script and then perform it to the class at the end. After college, I decide to go to the park on my own. Just to reflect on things.

I get to the park and I stroll through it. It's pretty cold, so I'm shivering slightly. It's getting a bit dark as I reach an opening to a forest. The leaves are rattling, and I see a strange silhouette through the branches. I am curious to see what it is. Slowly, I begin to step forwards and my shoes make a crunch on the fallen leaves. Suddenly, the figure moves, and it is no where to be seen. Strange. I try not to think about it, and I begin to walk home.
