Unlike other stories, In this story Draco and Y/N absolutely despise each other at first but over time they learn to love one another. Its Year 5 and Y/N is a very private person and keeps almost everything to herself but this year gets a bit crazier than most years before.

The first day of hogwarts in year 5,

Im woken up by my mother yelling "Kids, Breakfast!" I groan as I slyther out of my bed. I hadnt gotten much sleep so i was exhausted. I had stayed up all night overfilled with anxiety because I didnt have great grades and i had no friends to vent to. As I make my way downstairs, i feel the floor vibrating as i hear my brothers running down the stairs to get to the table first. My brother names were Christopher and Isaiah, the twins. They are both 13 years old. I am older than them by 3 years. I was the only girl in the family apart from my mother. My father was no longer in the picture and i had no idea who he was, my mother had never told me anything about him except that he was dangerous. "Ah, my sweet girl" my mother says to me. "did you get some sleep? Its a big day!" I shrugged my shoulders as I felt my mother kiss my cheek. "Boys! Have some respect for your sister and let her have some food too!" My brother look at me and have an embarrassed looks on both of their faces. "Ill be fine mom, Ill just eat at hogwarts" I spoke as she smiled.

I headed upstairs and put my cloths on and brushed my hair and teeth. Before I left my room I looked in my mirror and pulled my sleeve up and saw the scars that i had scratch into my skin. I took another deep breath before I heard my mother say "Guys its time to go!" I grabbed my wand and my books and ran downstairs with my hair falling down my face.

We made our way to the train station. My brothers had talked to our mother and then ran through the wall to platform 9 3/4. My mother had shed some tears. She hugged me and pushed my hair behind my ear and said "please be good and make sure your brothers stay out of trouble" "I will, Mother. I promise." i said as she hugged me and lead me to the wall. I took a last look at her and ran through the wall. I saw my brothers waving me over to the train. I ran to the train. Almost missing the train, I jump on and spot my brothers. I see a girl sitting with my brothers and I sit with them.

The girl Intoduces herself. "Hi, Im Lou. Im new!" Im caught off guard because I firgured no one would want to speak to me. "Are you talking to me?" I asked. "Well of course, Silly!" She says with a smile on her face. I rub my arm nervously and she opened her mouths to speak again. "Dont speak much do you" She slides over to me a little more. "Im Y/N" I say with a confused look on my face. 'I figured we could be friends and you could show me around and introduce me to people" After a couple seconds, I speak "Sure!". I smile and point at my brothers. "Those are my brothers, Christopher and Isaiah" My brother notice that Im talking about them and they look at me with a mad look and glare back at them and stick my tougue out at them. They roll their eyes and go back to talking. "They dont seem so fond of you" Lou says quietly trying not to be so loud so they dont notice we are still talking about them.

"Trust me, they love me". I say. "So are you excited about this year Y/N?" I shake my head from side to side. "Is there a reason your not excited?" Lou continues to speak. "I just dont have any friends and no one really likes to talk to me so im mostly alone" I say. "Well now you have me" Lou laughs and hugs me.

We arrive at hogwarts

Lou and I walk through the front doors of hogwarts. In front of us are other people entering. I see the famous Harry Potter and I snarl at him. Me and Lou make our way to the Great hall to eat dinner before going to our dorms. Lou and I speak as we eat. My eyes loose focus and drop to the floor. Lou waves her hand infront of my face. "Y/N?"
She snapped me out of it. "Y/N? what was that about?". I look at her and she has this concerned look on her face. "Oh sorry, I was just thinking about my mom" I said as she looks at me unconvinced.
