A large number of people are gathered in the living room of Wayne manor, more specifically, three grown men in superhero costumes with rips and slashes, currently being treated by a butler and a red-headed woman in a wheelchair.

Another was annoyed and confused Patriarch who had his date disturb while nursing a bruise on his cheek with an ice pack, another boy around the age of 12 with slashes and gashes as well, being treated by a woman with midnight blue hair.

I bet you are confused or at least wondering. Let us review what happened earlier that night.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Marinette had the most wonderful night in ages in a while and Bruce was being a complete and total gentleman.

If she was an airhead, he thinks she doesn't notice the weapons he has been deflecting, dodging, and avoiding like hell.

But still, the night was wonderful, especially where they now. On top of Wayne Industries, the view of the city gave Marinette a whole new brand of ideas for her next line.

"Like the view." She heard someone behind, she merely nodded as the owner of the voice stood beside her and offered her a glass of wine.

Taking a sip, she smiled "Chardonnay white wine, impressive" she commented, her maroon dress fluttering slightly in the wind. Bruce took a sip at his glass.

It was blissful silence there until Marinette decided "What are you after Bruce, I assume the head of a big company such as yourself has a reason for this" she stated.

"I don't need a reason to dine with a beautiful woman such as yourself, but If I had reasoned it would be two different reasons."

She raised her brow at that "Really, and pray to tell what would be those reasons" she smirked haughtily at him, and he smirked back.

"Well, my first reason would be, that you have been on my mind since we first met, on that opening years ago, a woman in a black dress with a white mask. With emerald green eyes.

I remember that night we spent and of course the next morning she was gone and leaving nothing but torn clothing and bracelet as a clue" Marinette red at that.

She still has his suit in her closet, hoping that one day she could return to the man who owned "Quite a charming aren't you, Bruce, but why don't you tell me the other reason" she poured herself another cup of wine.

"Well, the other reason would be, purely business reason isn't that right Miss Red Mask" she paused as she was screwing the cap back on the bottle.

"How did you know?" She asked, it didn't surprise her really, seeing as he was the Greatest detective there was. Bruce went behind her and embraced her while carefully setting down his glass of wine.

"Honestly I do not know how I didn't recognize it sooner, one look at the photo of you in a magazine, I started comparing detail of you when we first met, but what captivated me was your eyes, and then that's how I discovered Red Mask and Marinette we're the same" he murmured while affectionately nuzzling her neck.

She can feel herself lowering her guard down, and she doesn't know why. Ever since him, she built a wall on her heart only letting her closest friends and comrades, and of course family.

And soon nuzzling became a quick peck, on his cheek, and he responded with a quick peck of his on her lips, and then the quick peck became a kiss.

And the kiss became a passionate one, but then they were disturbed. By a quick, that sent Bruce staggering back and Marinette froze in shock.
