Hey guys! Its been long, and I have not received the vote count I was hoping for, but I am still updating because not continuing the story makes me feel bad. So wrote this chapter for the sake of the people who care enough to vote, comment and enjoy the book!
BTW, Follower count crossed the 100 landmark. A special thanks to all who followed, and as you all can see, I follow back all my readers :)
Waking up in Rishab's arms brought a sense of relief in Pia. She was drained, too emotionally drained to be true. Her head hurt, so much new information, and on top of that so many bruises, the fact that for nearly a whole year she would not be able to do what she worked for her whole life, and she would not be able to have a child with the man she had come to love so much.
She move towards Rishab's side, and she looked at him. His facial features tense even in sleep. She traced the dark circles under his eyes which were a sign that all the while she was out, Rishab was awake, trying to find her, and he did. He saved her once again. She smiled at their memories, how she had decided to be friends with him, how he had threatened her to marry him, everything....it came back to her. Her eyes filled with unshed tears thinking about the family she would never have, thinking about the child she could not give her husband. She snuggled into him further, hoping to find some peace in his rugged arms.Rishab felt some wetness on his shirt and his eyes opened slightly, the sunrays irritating his over sensitive eyes and he immediately closed them. He looked down after a few minutes and saw Pia literally struggling to get more and more snuggled into his body. He smiled a little which did not last long as again, because of the wind the curtains moved and sunlight hit his face. He groaned in frustration and tried to cover his face with his hands, removing them from around Pia.
"Good morning Rishab" Pia said, giggling a little at his antics. He smiled a little but turned away since sunlight was coming from Pia's side. But what he forgot was, he was not in his own bed, but a hospital bed and fell down on the floor, earning a roaring laughter from Pia's side.
Rishab, now fully awake, looked up at her from the floor. She was sitting on the hospital bed now, laughing at his fall.
