Those blue eyes

He was so close to me that I could smell his minty breath. 

"Well, I said I was gonna come to school today, didn't I?" I said to Jayden. 

"Hey, I just wanted to make sure you weren't avoiding me." 

"What makes you think I would be avoiding you?" 

"I don't know, you tell me" He said with that annoying smirk on his face.

Doesn't he get tired of smirking? 

"You know Jayden, the world doesn't revolve around you, you know that right?"

"Oh but I'm sure yours revolves around me" He says with a wink.  

"I'm really not in the mood for your narcissistic comments today" 

"Damn why are always so mean to me Elena?" "You hurt my feelings" He placed his hands on his heart, faking hurt"

"I see you're feeling better though, since you're being yourself again. That's good."

"Careful Jayden, I might think you're actually starting to care about me."

"Does that bother you?" He said stepping closer and looking at me straight in the eyes. He licks his bottom lip as he stares at my lips briefly.

My heart started beating a little and my stomach was doing little flips. He didn't break eye contact until I did. 

I looked away nervously but he was still staring at me with a smirk which changed into a chuckle. 

"What?" I asked looking at him weirdly.

"You look like a tomato right now." "You really can't hide your attraction towards me, huh?"

"You wish, I gotta get to class Jayden" I said walking away a little embarrassed that he saw me blush because of what he said.

"See you around Elena!" He yelled.

English class was a total bore. We were reading Of Mice and Men, which I totally hated. That 

novel just bores me. It sucks that I had to pay attention to every little detail because we were having a test next week on the first five chapters.

Anyways I was excited for the rest of my day because I was gonna go to mall after school with Claire. 

I had PE next and then lunch after with Claire.

I had fun at PE because we played volleyball, which I was very good at. I had so much fun 

because I made another friend called Leah. She was just as good as me and was on my team.

We were unstoppable together with our other team members. We won the match. 

I'm currently in the locker room, getting changed. I'm gonna head to the cafeteria for lunch with Claire after this.

I heard a beep from phone. Probably a text from Claire letting me know she was waiting for me.
