The first Date and kiss

The rest of the days passed by quickly. I spent my time hanging out with Claire after school and my mum grew to like her too. We became very close friends. Probably best friends. My school break times were spent quarreling with Jayden. We were always playing pranks on each other. During the week, there was another time we had PE and when Jayden was showering, I took his clothes and hid them. He came out only in boxers to grab it from me and seeing him half naked , made me blush. I enjoyed every moment of him blushing with embarrassment that everyone saw him in his boxers. It was pay back for what he did to me at PE the other time.Today was Saturday and guess what? I had a date this afternoon with a guy called Carl. I sat with him in Arts class for two days. He asked me out on a date when we were going for lunch. I was happy. Today I called Claire to come over so that we can go for shopping. I was in the kitchen with my mum whilst she was preparing breakfast when I heard the doorbell ringing. "I'll get it mum." I said and with that I walked to the door. When I opened there was Claire wearing skinny jeans and tank top. She looked simple and beautiful. "Hello Claire" I said kissing her cheek. "Come in." I continued. She smiled at me and greeted my mum. She sat on the kitchen stool beside me chatting with me whilst mum was making the breakfast. "Breakfast is ready!" mum said. "So, we have here sandwiches with hot chocolate." mum continued. Claire and I moaned at the thought of the meal. My mum put the plates in front of us with the hot chocolate and we thanked her. We ate in silence. When we were done, I washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen with the help of Claire. For someone whose parents were rich, I didn't expect her to even touch a rag. "Mum! we're going for shopping at the mall we'll be back very soon." I yelled so that she could hear. "Okay honey, sure, you two have fun." She said. "We will Mrs Anderson." said Claire before I could answer. Claire's posh car was outside. We both sat in the car and she sparked the engine and started to drive out of the neighborhood.

In thirty minutes, we reached the mall. We went through the racks trying on dresses, having fun and so on. We spent more than hour trying on dresses. I finally tried a red dress with a silver chain attached to it and the back was bare. It was so beautiful. "Claire , I think I'll have this." I told her. "Oh my God, you look absolutely stunning." she exclaimed. I felt a light blush creep unto my cheeks. "Aww you are blushing, ain't you cute." she said trying to tease me. Claire chose a green and violet gown. It was so beautiful. We paid for the dresses and went to order for pizza and drinks. Claire had planned to watch movies with me and help me dress up for my first date. That's why she came to my house. We got to the house early. Claire and I chose the movie "black coffee" to watch. Claire is a fun of romance novels. We watched another movie after "black coffee" whilst eating pizza and drinking soda. It was now three o' clock and my date was coming in an hour. Claire pulled me upstairs to get me ready. She rolled my hair into nice wavy curls. I put my red dress on and looked at myself in the mirror. It's length was up to my knee. It showed all my curves. After, I wore my stiletto. "Wow, you look hot." Claire said. "Thanks, for helping me. I couldn't have looked like this without your help." I told her. "You are welcome. What are best friends for." she said. We smiled at each other.
Ping! Ping! and the doorbell rung. Claire's smile turned into a smirk. "Now go, you don't wanna keep your date waiting." she said. "Tell me everything that happened when you come back." she told me. "Okay, I will." and with that I rushed to the door. I opened the door to see a cute Carl dressed in a tuxedo. "Hi" I said. "Hey" he said. "You look beautiful" he continued. I could feel his eyes raking over my curves. "You look handsome." I said then finally he looked at my face. "Mum! Claire! I'm going." I yelled. "Okay, have fun." they both gave chorus answers. "I will." I said and with that, Carl and I left. Carl opened his car door for me to sit in his van and he closed it for me. Such a gentleman.

He immediately pulled out of the neighborhood and we were on the street. "So, where are we going." I asked. "It's a surprise." he said. "Okay." I said. I was really one who loved surprises. We kept chatting on the way. We stopped at a restaurant called Mi Amore. He opened the door for me as he did earlier. We got down and entered the restaurant. He pulled a seat from our table for me to sit. Soon, a waitress approached and asked us what we wanted to eat. She was looking at Carl all the time batting her eyelashes. She was trying to flirt with him and I couldn't stand it. She started going down to write our order with the intention of showing Carl a clear view of her breast. "Would you stop it!" I said to the waitress. "He has been taken can't you see? Stop flirting with him!" I ended. She looked at me angrily."l will bring your order right away." she said, clearly embarrassed. "Whoah, were you jealous? Well, if so, I like it when you are jealous because you look incredibly hot when jealous." Carl said making me blush hard. I probably looked like a tomato now.

In about ten minutes, the waitress brought our meals. The two of us ordered for chicken nuggets and fries.

The date was awesome. Carl was a total gentleman. He ordered a band to sing a song for me. It was so romantic. Right now, we were outside the restaurant near his car.

"I really had fun tonight." I said. "Yeah, I also did." Carl said. "I'm glad you had fun." he continued.

We started to laugh. "You are really beautiful." Carl said to me. He reached his hand out and cupped my cheek coming closer to me." "Any guy could fall for you easily." he said looking into my eyes as if he could see through me. His eyes were a light shade of blue. Looking into them, I was completely lost.

He brought his face closer to mine until we were only a couple of inches apart. Oh my God! was he about to kiss me? Before I could think further he crushed his lips to mine. He kissed me passionately and I kissed him back. He nipped my bottom lip making me gasped. I opened my mouth giving him further access. We pulled apart breathless. "I- I- I'm sorry, I just couldn't control it." he apologized. "Oh no it's okay." I said. "I liked it." I said blushing. He also started blushing from embarrassment. "Okay, l- let's get you home." he stammered. " The ride home was silent. I was thinking about the kiss. It was my first! and it was stolen by this handsome guy. I could still feel his lips on mine. Could it be that he was thinking about it too? or did he regret it? That thought made me shake. When we got to my house, he opened the door for me to get down again. I was halfway through to the door when Carl's voice stopped me.

"Errm Elena, I just want you to know that I enjoyed your company." he said. "Me too." I said. " Can we do this again?" he asked sounding nervous. "Sure" I answered smiling. He smiled back and said "Bye Elena, goodnight." "Goodnight, Carl." I also said. I watched him drive out of the neighborhood and waved him off.

"Nice guy, there" came a voice from inside the house. I turned to see my mom."Mom! were you spying on us?" I said narrowing my eyes at her. "Yh, kinda." she said smiling.

"Yh, he is a nice guy, by the way." I said smiling. "Someone is in love." my mom teased. "No, mom I just like him ." I said walking into the house with her following behind me. "Mom, I am going to have a shower and sleep. I am very tired."

"Okay, honey." my mom said.

After taking my shower, I called Claire and told her how the date went about. She was excited when I told her that Carl kissed me.
I just hoped that Carl didn't regret the kiss. I didn't know how to explain how I was feeling. Did I really like him?
