Shifting lightly in his seat Din leaned his head to the side as you continued to drive the speeder through the deserts of Tatooine, the sun beating down on the three of you and not making anything any cooler while the wind from the quick speeds you were going at provided the tiniest bit of relief. At least, he assumed it did for you and the baby, since he couldn't feel shit while being under the armour.

Up ahead he could see a canyon that you were more than likely going to drive through, and he sighed, sitting back again and craving a nice drink of water back on the ship. Somehow it felt like it was only getting hotter, and Din was ready to go somewhere that wasn't as sweltering as Tatooine.

Your foot pressed down on the pedal a little harder and the speeder began moving even faster, your hair slightly whipping into his face as you straightened your posture a bit and continued on. When you entered the canyon he quickly glanced around at all of the rocks, frowning slightly at the sight of them before turning back to the front.

The exit was just up ahead, and just as he was finished preparing himself for the view of the endless open desert again, a rope was suddenly stretched out to block the path, and you gasped, but it was too late. The front of the speeder caught on the rope and it instantly tilted upwards, the force of the collision sending the three of you and everything on the speeder flying through the air.

The speeder went tumbling through the sand and exploded behind Din as he used the jetpack to help him land upright, though you weren't so lucky as you crashed into one of the rocks and fell to the ground limp. There wasn't much he could do, though, because suddenly four bounty hunters approached and shot their blaster straight at his head, making him yelp out in pain from the sudden force.

One of them screamed for another to get the Child and Din stumbled back into a taller rock, where a fifth one came from behind and whacked Din's blaster out of his hand with a large rod, making him shoot one of the guys in the leg before the blaster went falling to the ground. Din ducked under another attack of the rod and punched the guy in the face, only to receive one right back in the nose.

Eventually Din was able to wrench the rod out of the larger man's hands and use the end of it to whack the guy as hard as he could on the side of his face, though his victory was short-lived as another guy pushed him aggressively back into the rock wall. Din hooked his fist into the side of the man's gut, only to be met with a third guy that tried stabbing him with a longer, pointier rod.

Quickly putting his hand up, Din was able to redirect the rod into the rock behind him and hit down on the inside of the man's arm to loosen his grip as he tried to kick the second one away. Another punch was delivered to his helmet and Din's head hit the rock behind him, which allowed the two guys to pin him to the wall and push against him as hard as they could.

Looking up Din noticed that the fourth one was pointing a gun at him, so he quickly launched his grappling hook to latch onto the rifle and yanked it back towards himself, then ducked down to the ground to let the rifle smack both of the guys that were fighting him on the head and into the rock, where they both fell down to the ground unmoving.

Standing up quickly he grabbed his blaster and shot the fifth guy that was standing over you, watching worriedly as you slowly lifted your head up and looked around until the voice of the only remaining bounty hunter rang through the air. Looking back over to his right Din noticed that the bounty hunter was holding the baby in his arms with a dagger pointed at his throat, and Din froze.
