Once upon a time, there was a girl called Snow White. She lived in a castle with her father and her stepmother, as her real mother died when Snow White was a child.

Snow White's stepmother had a special mirror which she spoke to. Her conversations with it went like this:

Queen: Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? (Flicks hair)
Mirror: You are, my queen.

However, one day, the conversation went like this:

Queen: Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? (Flicks hair)
Mirror: My dear queen, your beauty has dropped from a height, because the most beautiful maiden in the land is called Snow White.
Queen: WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU?! AND THAT WASN'T EVEN A GOOD RHYME! (Punches Mirror and storms off)

The queen ordered Snow White to be taken into the woods and killed, with her heart being delivered to the queen, so the huntsman was forced to lead her deep into the woods.

"What's going on?" Snow White asked, in the most innocent voice you can imagine.

"I have been ordered to kill you," the huntsman said.

Snow White started crying and sank to her knees, because she thought she was going to die.

The huntsman continued, "However, I am going to make a storybook decision. I simply will not be able to live with myself if I kill you. I'm just too kind-hearted for that, as it is in all stories."

Snow White squeaked, "Really?"

"Yes."

The huntsman raised his axe, and swung it into his chest. He promptly died.

Snow White died anyway from the horror that she saw, so the huntsman's sacrifice was all in vain.

THE END.
