Chapter 1

Hey! I'm Sophie Fergi.

How am I?

Oh pretty great for someone who lost all her friends, got her relationship ended over youtube, get her cats taken from her and get blocked by all her friends. Yeah I'm living the life.

My life was frustrating. Same house, same life and same area where all the bad luck just happened to fall on me.

I've never done this before. If something goes wrong I can't just start over again right?

I'm hanging on to old magazines,books and WORDS. Although I know it's forgotten and it'll never happen but it makes my feel better that at one time in my life...  Everything WAS fine.

Then i heard my mom.
"Cmon soph let's go we're leaving for California in 10!".

"Coming!" I replied.

I'm glad that at least she cares. I've heard about some mom's that beat their kids or are abusive but mine supports me through anything. So I guess I'm not that unlucky.

I had been waiting for this day so I'm all packed and ready to go.

Wanna know how I feel?

Scared, nervous, afraid and excited for the future. If I can't handle this.....

"Holding on to the past isn't healthy"

At least that's what it says on my poster in my room. So that's a good thing. But it also says

"You can run but you can't hide" .

Wow I really need to arrange this room. Well it won't be in my new room in California.
Ohio was where I lived after I was born in California. All my memories we here.

The plane ride was long.
I've been through a lot. From loosing my boyfriend Jentzen, and getting blocked by all my friends on Instagram......

"I just wanna start over"

After we landed in California, we went to the house my mom bought. It was already 8pm and I had school tomorrow.

Ahhh, first day at a new school, starting over a new life. The only reason this doesn't feel like home is because I had a lot of childhood memories in Ohio. Things that happened that were probably forgotten by everyone. No matter how high I kept my hopes up, I knew it was too good to be true.

I changed into my pyjamas and went to bed. Tomorrow, the real journey begins.

The next day
I got up by six am to get ready.
I wore a white lace crop top with black jeans and air force ones. I grabbed the toast as it popped out of the toaster.

"Ok soph let's go!" My mom shouted.

It was a popular influencer school so I looked it up.

'Arendale High school'.

I walked into the office to get my schedule. During the car ride I was posting stories on Instagram so my fans already know that I was in California.

I walked to class were we were going to get assigned to a group. I was partners with a girl named Sarah, whoever that is.

Then a skinny blonde girl with light brown eyes walked up to me .

"Hi I'm Sarah ,you must be Sophie right? We're partners" she said at little more enthusiastic than I thought she would.

"Yeah, I am and it's nice to meet you too" I replied.

"C'mon lemme introduce you to the squad" she said.

Squad!!!
The last thing I wanted to hear was that word not even talking about joining one.

We walked into a room where we saw a bunch of teens. Sarah introduced me to them one by one.

"This is Aidan" she said slightly blushing.

"And Sicily" she said pointing to a pretty blonde with blue eyes.

Then this is Brooklyn" she said referring to a dark girl with long black hair.

"And last of all, Gavin" she said pointing to a guy with blonde hair and striking blue eyes.

As he turned to me, we locked eyes. Something about him was so familiar but I couldn't place my finger on it. We continued to stare until...

"Guys it's been 45seconds!" Brooklyn shouted.

"Oh um our bad" Gavin said.

We started brainstorming ideas for tours and videos. I had lots of followers so I had lots of work to do.

The next class we had was music and we had to write a song. Gavin and I had to write a breakup song . I was pretty good so I just grabbed a guitar and let the words fly out of my mouth.

"I thought you were the one for me that's why i have you everything.
Held you closer through the stormy seas
Oh, you meant the world to me" I sang. Then everyone stared at me.

"Oh sorry" I apologized.

"No that's was awesome. I want five more by Friday" the instructor said.

I widened my eyes.

"Don't worry I'll help" Gavin said reading my mind.

"Thanks" I said. 

Then all through out we spent it making videos. Then Sarah walked up to me.

"So tell me about yourself" Sarah said.

This is going to be a looooong story.
