My eyes snapped open and I jumped back in my seat.

"Karrey! It's ok! It's me, Christopher! I'm here." His eyes were wide and worry was painted on his handsome face.

He gently placed a rough hand on mine. He gave it a gentle squeeze and we sat in silence until I was finally calm.

I sighed, "I'm sorry. I had a bad dream."

"It's ok. Don't be sorry." He flashed me a sweet smile.

"I'm sorry."

He chuckled and put his other hand to my face to wipe a tear I didn't even know was there. He kept his hand on my cheek for a minute and then finally sat back. His eyebrows were scrunched together and he still had a worried look on his face.

"Where are we?" I asked trying to change the subject.

We were pulled over on the side of the road. It was dark and we were in a wooded area just like when Chris came and got me.

"You were screaming and crying so I pulled over." Silence filled the car for a few more minutes until he spoke again.

"What were you dreaming about?"

So much for changing the subject.

"Ahsley." I whispered so quietly I didn't think he would hear me.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"No." I said hoarsely.

"Ok." he stated hesitantly.

I turned my head to look at him. His skin was dark and his jaw looked like it was sculpted by gods. He looked as though he hadn't shaved in a while and had short black hair. His dark chocolate eyes stared out his window.

He noticed me looking in the reflection of his window and let out a small chuckle.

"Do you need me to stay with you tonight?" He asked.

That question caught me completely off guard.

Why would he stay with me? And what did he mean by that?

"You've had a pretty rough night, I can sleep on your couch if you want."

Deep down I really wanted him to. I was still shaken up about the deer and that horrid dream. I looked over to Christopher and there in the window stood my father.

"Karrey?" Christopher waved a hand in front of my face.

"Uh, I think I'll be fine alone." I said snapping my head back to him.

"Are you sure?"

"No."

I slid the black gloves onto my hands. Muffled screams could be heard from the next room over. I smiled as I sat on the bed sharpening my knife.

"You'll get what's coming to you. Patience." I whispered.

I slid the blade across the honing rod as I let out a laugh.

Those women disgust me, they were going to pay. They stole everything from me.

Once my blade was sharp, I got my gun on the night stand.

"Get ready. " I said viciously.

I walked out of the small room and into the hallway. With each of my slow steps, the wood creaked beneath my feet. I grabbed the knob and slowly turned it, the knob squeaked and it excited me. I walked in and there the women sat, two on the bed and one in the corner. Only two of them were crying, the one on the floor and the one that was at the top of the bed. The other one sat at the foot of the bed, no emotion was shown.
