Kim Jinhee was everyone's favourite

Kim Jinhee was everyone's favourite. Even at school, she was loved by everyone. She was young, smart and beautiful. She had chestnut brown hair and it lay on her shoulders like a waterfall flowing mildly on a summer's day. From under her curtain side bangs shone eyes of chocolate brown, which would disappear cutely once she starts to smile.

No one couldn't help but to notice her eyes glistening whenever she talked. Even her high delicate cheek bones, creamy smooth skin, small nose and slim figure seemed as if they were painted slowly and patiently by a painter.

As she walked, feeling proud and confident, students surrounding her whispered godly words and compliments, envy of her and her life. The girls was a living angel without the halo and the wings. She continued to ponder down the corridor and entered her classroom, earning greetings from everyone.

Everyone except for Seo Yuhwa.

Seo Yuhwa was the exact opposite of Kim Jinhee. It wasn't like she was hated, she was actually very popular amongst the students but for the wrong reasons. She was known as the girl who rebels, who owns the worst grades and most importantly, Kim Jinhee's arch nemesis.

Girls envied her fox like eyes, which could kill anyone if they were allowed to. Her black orbs didn't shine, unlike Jinhee's, they were filled with emptiness, a galaxy without its stars and constellations. Her hair was deep hues of fierce black against her pale face, which never held a smile.

Kim Jinhee sat in the front, her class president like smile welcoming every other student as usual. Seo Yuhwa sat in the very back next to a window, hands stretched lazily while her head rested on her desk. She stared at the unfamiliar boy who had just entered and everyone quietened down, bewitching them into stopping whatever they were doing.

"Everyone, we have a new transfer student." Mr.Moon spoke proudly, patting the new guy's back. He only did that to people who had astonishing grades. "Introduce yourself first."

The student nodded and smiled, causing everyone, girls and boys to melt in their seats. He had that kind of face which stopped you in your tracks and Yuhwa guessed that he must be a trainee from some company. There was no way a boy could look that good.

"Hello." His deep voice chimed. "My name is Lee Jeno. I love sports, especially dancing. Please take care of me!"

Students clapped as if they had just won the lottery. His visuals drew them in, but Yuhwa ignored the happy smiles and went back to sleeping.

"You can sit next to Yuhwa. There's an empty spot next to her." Mr.Moon voiced. "Class Pres. would you mind showing Jeno around after school?"

"Of course I wouldn't, Mr.Moon." Jinhee's honey like voice entered everyone's ears. She sent a small wink towards Jeno before he sat behind her far far away.

"Um hi." Yuhwa heard Jeno, who poked her hand unintentionally to wake her up from her precious nap. She snapped her head lazily towards Jeno to question him why but her eyes remained frozen when his face appeared to be too close to hers.

"I'm Jeno, you are?"

"No." She deadpanned before turning her head back around, earning a small inaudible sigh from the handsome guy.

"Ignore her. She's always like that." The student who sat on the right side of Jeno whispered. "I'm Jaemin by the way, Na Jaemin. I heard from Donghyuck that you're joining us today."

"Ah yes, he has told me all about you and his other friend Renjun. It's nice to meet you, Jaemin." Jeno flashed his white pearls. Thanks to his cousin Lee Donghyuck, he was on his way to make real friends.

During lunch, students didn't hide their shameful stares directed towards Lee Jeno. Here, in Neo High, no one called him an ugly loser. He was considered as one of the most attractive male students to attend this school. Even now, he walked beside Jaemin, Renjun and Donghyuck, starting a rumor amongst everyone that they were the next F4.

"I know we always get attention." Donghyuck smirked. "But today it has doubled. I guess it's in the genes that we are both attractive as hell."

"I'm not used to...this." Jeno whispered, still mesmerised by the fact that he was getting popular.

Renjun patted his shoulder. "We have our own secret room thanks to Donghyuck. We go there when we're fed up with people's BS."

Jeno nodded. It wasn't a surprise that Donghyuck had managed to find the most largest and the luxurious room in Neo High. His father was the principle after all.

The secret hideout room mirrored a perfect magazine cover. The couches and beanbags were black, decorated with blood red cushions. The curtains were however white linen, untouched and dust less. There were a large screen, bookshelves, a ping pong table, a pool table and even a medium sized swimming pool lit by various colours of LED lights next to the glass windows. The photographs were either Donghyuck, Jaemin and Renjun themselves or their beloved pets. Even the floor was a high polished wood, dark and free of dust or any other dirt.

Jeno wasn't surprised. This was how the rich entertained themselves in here and he was no foreigner to such an environment.

"Did Kim Jinhee accept your confession?" Renjun asked, grabbing a rubber ball and throwing himself on a couch. "Or did she reject you again?"

Jaemin sighed, hugging his red cushion closer to his chest, looking like a sad lost puppy. "She told me that she wasn't looking for a boyfriend. How can she be so cute while turning me down?"

Renjun could only roll his eyes and threw his ball at his friend. "Focus on your grades. They suck."

"Don't get too concerned if Renjun starts a fight with one of us. He's naturally tiny so you can easily crush him." Donghyuck advised Jeno but he was easily pulled to the ground once Renjun had laid his finger on him.

"Say that again, loser or I will expose your bear printed underwear collection to the whole school."

"Renjun, I know where he hides those." Jeno butted in, earning a betrayed gasp from his cousin.

"Hello people. You should be paying attention to me, to a heart broken Jaemin. Over here, MFs." The blue headed boy whined, throwing his pillow towards the direction of the other three.

The four continued to argue and mess around until dusk, not realising that they had missed three lessons and probably an upcoming detention.
