August 26th 2020:

A shiver wracked Gavin's body as he wrapped his arms around himself for warmth.

He had checked out the homeless shelter that his landlord had recommended, but had felt out of place there. Plus, he didn't like people looking after him. He could take care of himself.

Despite the fact that he was currently shaking in the cold, sitting on a cardboard box in an alleyway, Gavin figured he was doing pretty good so far.

Nobody had stumbled down here yet, so it was relatively peaceful, and every now and then, two stray cats would come to keep him company.

Speaking of the devils, one of them, a black cat with one ear whom Gavin had deemed Van Gogh, came out from behind one of the trash cans, meowing as he walked towards the shivering male.

Van Gogh's other cat companion, Frida, soon joined him too, pressing into Gavin's side and purring as the one eared cat climbed into his lap.

Smiling, he pet their heads with shaking hands. "Hey guys...didn't think you'd keep coming back, but I don't mind..."

Just don't leave me like everyone else...

Gavin leant his head against the brick wall, sighing as his eyes drooped, and he fell asleep with the two cats nestled in his lap.

"Stephen!" A familiar voice yelled, and said male looked up to see his boyfriend, Hosuh, running towards at full speed, a look of worry on his face.

Barely having to get a response out, Stephen groaned as the older male swept him up into a bone crushing hug, beginning to ramble before the other could get a word in.

"I got your voicemail and I was so worried, why are you in the hospital, why didn't you call me before, I would have came immediately, plus I heard you mention Gavin which you haven't done in months and that made me even more worried, what happened-"

"Hos, Hos, Hos!" Stephen cut him off, placing a finger to the grey haired male's lips. "Calm down!"

Blinking, Hosuh nodded slowly and also placed Stephen down, watching as the younger took in a deep inhale, trying to catch his breath.

After recovering, the purple haired male turned back to Hosuh, who waited patiently for an explanation.

Stephen began. "So..."
