jonah sang as he read the lyrics from the paper. he dropped the pencil down onto the paper shaking his head. his thoughts were eating him up.
he could usually escape by writing & singing but it seemed to make him feel it even more.
every lyric, every single word he sings he feels it. he picks the pencil back up & continues writing.
'When I'm around you, I feel it in my veins There's something about you that's makin' me go insane'
jonah looked up after singing this part. the hairs on the back of his neck standing up while thinking about it.
one person, it's one person who gives him this feeling. the feeling like he could jump off a building just to be with him.
a knock came from the door before zach walked in.
"yo i heard you singing, you good bro?"
zach asks. jonahs breath hitched. just looking at the boy gave him butterflies.
"i'm good, didn't know i was singing that loud."
jonah replies. a giggle comes from zach before he sat behind jonah on the bed.
"let me hear it."
jonahs heart fluttered, zach gives him the most unreal feeling, such an overcoming feeling. something he's never felt before. he took a deep breath before playing the keyboard & beginning his song.
'Oh, baby, I can feel the rush of adrenaline I'm not scared to jump if you want to Let's just fall in love for the hell of it Maybe, we'll just keep fallin''
jonah sang, ending the song with a run. he turned to see zach in awe, his mouth opened in an 0 shape.
"d-did you right that, jonah?"
jonah nodded at him.
"it's amazing jo."
zach said still surprised.
"let me see the paper"
zach said, jonah handed him the notebook. he read through the lyrics.
"bro, this shit is so raw. literally just raw emotion."
jonah laughed quietly.
"yeah, been struggling in my thoughts lately."
jonah said without thinking. once he realized what he said he realized he messed up.
"woah, woah, woah. who is this about? you feel like this? it's so, powerful, jojo."
zach said. jonah nodded.
"it's like, i feel like as soon as this person walks into the room or looks in my direction my heart just flutters. i've never, ever felt this connection with someone in my whole life. it's so overpowering."
jonah says. zach jus looks at him, mesmerized by the older boys emotions. he's always, always been in awe over jonahs whole mentality. he's had a thing for jonah for a while but it never went anywhere.
he just ignores the feelings. unlike jonah, he turns them into songs.
"it's crazy, i feel like i would do anything for this person. like it's so weird but at the same time i love the feeling. i love the way he makes me feel."
jonah stated. zachs stomach filled with butterflies.
"i love you"
zach says, giggling after. jonah giggled too.
"i love you too, bro."
jonah replies. little did zach know he really was in love with him.
