Adrian bit his index finger unconsciously, it felt like there was an insect sting or something of the sort. As he continuously nibbled on it, he looked at the ombre colors ensuing over Paris from his bedroom window. The large rectangular grid gave him a great view of the city, or at least the part of the city it was facing, among the other things he could see some people on the roof of an apartment building not far away as well as the Eiffel Tower. No matter how long he lived like this and how much he got used to it, he still somehow felt like he was living above his means, it wasn't necessarily the luxuries that made him feel that way but rather the popularity. Taking a soft breath, he began to wonder what his partner was doing that night, it was common for Ladybug to be out for no reason, sometimes doing a night patrol or sometimes just for the joyride.

Peering further out into the distance where the sun was beginning to sink behind the curvature of the city he could see large buildings and the Eiffel Tower along the Seine River turn their lights on. He took this as an initiative to turn on his own lights, as the only illumination in the room was the dimming sunlight. Plagg had fallen asleep somewhere after half a wheel of Camembert and Adrien couldn't be bothered to find him unless there was an actual emergency. He got off of his Piano bench, beginning to get tired of playing and instead started walking up the winding stairs to his bookcases full of CDs and video games.

He had everything a teenage boy would want and he still got bored sometime around. He looked over the glass railing of the balcony to watch the lower floor to see if anyone came in. It's not like he was expecting anyone, he just really wanted some company. Sitting on the bench up there, he pulled out his phone and waited. First he searched through his apps, then he looked through his CD's to see if there was any disk that particularly interested him. The cases ranged from movies, to classical music, to singer albums but nothing really caught his attention. He's seen or heard almost every video there. It was just one of the things he used to do when he was homeschooled, that being to spend all his time with it.

Sitting back down on the bench, he stopped to hear the sound of the air being squished out of the cushioning from under the black leather. Taking a moment to lean his back against the shelf, he sighed. He softly blinked a few times as his chest rose and sunk in a consistent pattern. He only realized now that he'd gotten a bit thinner when he saw that the shirt he was wearing seemed to be a bit looser than normal. It was likely due to the fencing but he wasn't going to complain since it was something that interested him. His tennis shoes thumped to the rhythm in his own head, imagining his mom and questioning what she would've been thinking of right now.

Eventually he paused his thumping and heard light footsteps somewhere below him, hoping that they were heading up to his room. He jumped the balcony and hit the carpet, not exactly a balanced landing but he was getting better at it, the footsteps were clearly heading up the stairs and he patiently waited in the white chair in front of him at the desk. The footsteps grew louder and he realized that it might not only be Nathalie. Thinking it might've been his father as well he got excited but immediately shook off that thought as he was "busy" and one of the few reasons he ever came up to visit him was for purposes of giving prepositions, or to lecture or reprimand him for something he did.
