Three men sat on the blanket they placed on the snowy winter ground and had a peaceful picnic under the lazy afternoon sun. They fed each other some food and talked a lot – about life, and their love for one another.

"Have you guys ever thought of giving gifts to one another?" Victor asked, munching on a sandwich.

"I've never thought of that actually, but it's a brilliant idea!" Luca exclaimed, throwing his arms in the air.

"How about a gift wrapping competition?" Andrew suggested. "We can select a gift for one another and wrap it nicely."

"Whoever has the most creative, or beautiful way of wrapping his gift gets to eat all the candy my mom brought me!" Victor added, clasping his hands together as his dog, Wick, barked.

"That's a great idea!" Luca grinned from ear to ear, and gave them a competitive smile shortly after. "When do we start?"

"Today, right now – show your presents by nightfall boys," Andrew declared as he stood up, smirking at the both of his loved ones. "The last one bites the dust!"

So the three sprinted off to stores to buy gifts and colourful wrappers, ribbons, stickers, and decorations. Hours went by and it was slowly getting darker. The men walked back to their picnic area, holding bags of gifts.

"Alright guys, one three, we reveal our presents," Victor announced. "One..."

"Two..." Andrew announced.

"Three!" screamed Luca excitedly.

The men revealed their presents and... Eh? The look the same! A gift wrapped in paper of green and white strips resembling a peppermint, and each decorated with a glittery red velvet ribbon. They all chose the ribbon as their decoration because it was really eye-catching, but to see it at the same place, at the same time – what a surprise!

"Wow," Andrew wowed as he looked at his two boyfriends' presents. They were identical to his.

"Huh," Luca rubbed his chin. "How peculiar. What an odd coincidence!"

The others agreed with him. At the end, they declared everyone as victors and were really happy with the gifts they received from one another!
