Chpt.3~ Partners

   "Look Donnie, I get it, she's pretty, but what do you think Master Splinter is going to say when we bring a human back to the lair!" You scolded. "Well it's our only option! She is obviously, due to my calculation, going to tell someone!" He fired back, "Now WHOS fault is that?!"

    You paced around the rooftop relentlessly. It was almost time to go back to the lair and the 5 of you haven't come up with a solution to this problem yet. "Ok...OK! I got it! Someone just has to knock her over the head hard enough so she will lose her memories right!? Donnie give me your staff!" I reached for the staff but someone caught my wrist. "Y/N, we are not going to hit her over the head that hard, she could get brain damage or something."

   "But it was a good idea! And the only option we have right now!" In the background Raph was chuckling, "At least someone is putting their brain to use, Leo. You haven't come up with anything."

   I nodded my head towards his direction, smirking at Leo, "Yea, Leo, you haven't come up with anything and we only have about an hour before we go back, so what'll it be? My idea? Or risking our safety just because you don't think it's the right thing to do." Frankly, I would never sass Leo, seeing as he's 1. My superior and 2. Way smarter than me, so most of the time he would come back at me with logic and I would look stupid.

   "Ok, fine, we are training to be ninjas right? We can handle ourselves. I choose the second option, and I'm assuming Don and Mikey agree with me so it's 3 to 2 so we win."

There he goes making me look dumb again.

   I groan and throw my hands up. "Alright fine! Get yourselves in trouble! At least Raph and I were trying to help our cause!"

   A few minutes later, The three of them were having a conversation with the girl whose name was apparently April. She didn't seem to be that scared of us through first glance, but I could tell she was a little skeptical.

  Eventually, after a lot of  glares and pleading, she agreed not to tell anyone. Of course, we had to take her to the lair because she never mentioned having anywhere else to go, but unfortunately while we were going back, the Kraang had attacked again and this time succeeded in kidnapping her due to our lack of teamwork skills.

~TIME SKIP~

   After a lot of scolding from Master Splinter and explaining how I was trying to get them out of this mess, he reluctantly agreed on letting us save April, seeing as we didn't die and handled ourselves ok.
  
    Donnie was working on multiples ways to figure out a way to save April. "I don't know why he is so set on saving her, I mean he's only known her for like an hour. What's so special about her anyways?" I huffed and continued eating some leftover pizza. "I don't know, Donnie is just being Donnie what can you do."

   After eating a couple more slices and playing a few video games, Mikey, me, and Raph were Interrupted by Leo barging into the living room explaining how Donnie had found a plan to save April.

A/N: I don't really want to go Into the whole fighting scene because you probably already know what happens so moving on~
A/N OVER:

-TIME SKIP-

  After yesterday I was exhausted but nonetheless, we had to train. We ended up dropping April off, after saving her AGAIN, at her aunts house where she would be staying.

  Today Master Splinter had split us up into Pairs wanting to see where we were progressing and needed help on. I was paired with Raph, oddly enough. Donnie was paired with Leo, and Mikey was sitting on the sidelines for now because he offered too cheer for us. Reluctantly Master Splinter agreed and now back to the present.

    "Go!" Raph lunged at me, but I dodged and kicked him in the shell. He fell backwards a bit, but soon recovered and threw a quick punch. I wasn't paying attention, so he hit me and I stumbled and fell. I found my balance and lunged at him with my two knives. (Yes that it your weapon, I couldn't think of anything else)

  Before I could get a shot, he kicked my legs out from underneath me and pinned me to the ground. My back facing upwards to where my chest was pressed against the floor. "I win." He whispered against my ear.

  Fortunately, he couldn't see my face because it was probably as red as his mask. "Ok you can get off now." He got off me as I wiped a bead of sweat off my forehead. "Well done young Raphael and Leonardo,  Mikey now is your turn to fight against Leonardo. Also well done Donatello and Y/N, you have very much improved." The two of us sat down next to each other as we watched the fight unfold.

  Leo won, so now he was against Raphael. "Hey Y/N," Mikey whispered to me as he sat down. "What" "I saw how red you were when Raphael won, was it from the adrenaline, or tha fact Raph was pinning you to the floor?" I could feel my cheeks beat up but I brushed it off.

   "It was from the adrenaline, ok? Drop it." I turned back around watching the fight.

   Leo ended up winning and was congratulated by Master Splinter and the rest of us. "Yo, Raph, you did good. I honestly thought you had a really good shot beating Leo. Don't beat yourself up about it." I patted him on his back- or shell- and walked back to my room to go and shower. Unaware of the subconsciously smiling Red turtle behind me.
