Riddles to be solved

When I first saw her

David's POV:

My eyes opened because of some strange sound. I got up from my bed. It was still dark outside; I thought maybe granny must have got up early since she usually get's up at 5 in the morning. That's when my eyes went down on the clock which said it was just 3 am.

So checking for who it was, I went down but found everyone asleep. Then I thought maybe it was some animal's voice which came from nearby. It was just 3 am, so I went back to sleep since tomorrow was my first day of my new highschool and I didn't wanted to get late.

"Get up child, it's 7 am." Granny woke me up.

"How can it be 7? I'm going to get late my bus will come soon I have to get ready." I yelled and rushed towards washroom.

After sometime I got ready and was in a hurry to leave just then, "Have your breakfast child and take your lunch with you. I have made your favourite for you." Granny mentioned to which I appreciated, "Thanks Granny." and rushed out of the house since I heard my bus sound.

I was lucky the bus driver didn't leave without taking me. As I was going inside a girl came running and went inside the bus, she was so beautiful I forgot everything for a moment.

"Come in fast boy or else we will be late for the school." the bus driver shouted which brought me back to reality and I climbed the bus and went inside. I took a seat ahead of the girl since there were no seats left, the bus was full of students.

One student asked me, "Are you new here? Which class you are in?" to this I replied, "Yes I'm new and I'm in second year class A".

"Oh, don't worry join me I'm in the same class of yours and as we go to our class, I'll introduce you to my friends. But first let's introduce myself, I'm Alaric." Alaric introduced himself to which I acknowledged and replied, "Hello nice to meet you, I'm David."

As we were talking, we arrived to our High school, "ST FRANS HIGH SCHOOL" was the name of our school. Alaric came from behind and grabbed my shoulder, "Not there it's the wrong direction, our class is on opposite direction let me take you there with me." he suggested.

"Oh okay, thank you for your help.", I responded.

After that, we both reached our classroom. Alaric stated, "Hey David, you sit with me today. I usually sit with Stefan but he will adjust with Rohan, so now onwards you can sit with me." hearing this I repeated with a smile, "Okay, thanks for offering seat next to you."

Before Alaric could speak anything else, two students entered the classroom. "Hey Alaric, who's this new guy with you?", one of them inquired. "He is our new classmate and now our new group member, So this is David guys. Let me introduce my friends to you, David. He is Stefan, and he is Rohan." Alaric said.

"Hello guys.", I reacted.

Suddenly a voice came, "Good Morning students, please settle down." It was our class teacher.

"Mr Nair is our sir's name.", Alaric whispers in my ears.

Suddenly sir looked at me and called me, "What's your name new boy?", he asked. "David, sir." I replied.

"Oh, okay David, welcome to our High School. Also, if you need any help about anything you can come to me anytime." he added.

"Yes, sir." I replied, and then he started teaching the class. I didn't understand why, but all this time I was thinking of that girl and my concentration was all over her. So I decided to not to think about her and concentrate on my studies.

That day I took all the classes, and then it was time to head back home. On the way back in the bus I saw her again she was sitting on the last seat looking outside the window. I sat in my seat with my new friends. I thought of asking my friends about her, but as I was new, I thought it won't look good if I asked it now.

After sometime I reached my house. I got out of the bus and behind me she also came out of the bus. I was looking at her, but she without even looking at anyone went home straight.

As I reached my home, I was exhausted. So I crashed on my bed and fell asleep without having my dinner. Next day I got up early and got ready. It was time for my bus so I packed my bag, took my lunch and went outside to catch my bus.

I was early today, so it was still a bit time for the bus to come just then I heard a voice. It was her. She opened the door and came outside the house that's when I saw a strange woman inside the house before I could see anything else the women looked towards me, so I diverted my attention towards the other side and saw the bus coming.

We both went inside the bus and the bus started. Now this became my routine, meanwhile I got close with my group mates. So after 2 weeks I got to know something weird about that girl who stays next to my house.

one day I was talking with Alaric, and suddenly Rohan started talking about that girl.

He stated, "Anamika is so cute, I once tried talking to her but she ignored me and went ahead."

Listening to this Alaric and Stefan started laughing to which Rohan answered, "Oh so you guys laughing on me, at least I tried. You guys didn't even did that." to which Alaric reported, "Hey calm down you know she never talk to anyone leave boys she don't even talk to girls so why would she talk to you stop thinking about her." saying this, Alaric and Stefan started laughing again.

I was listening to all these silently until I understood the girl who lives near my house. Her name is Anamika. But it shook me up by listening to what Alaric said. I though she is an Introvert maybe that's why she is silent, but how can a person not even have a single friend in school? Even she wasn't a new student in school.

All the time I kept thinking about her, so I thought maybe I should try talking to her after all she is my classmate and also lives near my house maybe she will talk to me. So once after we were going back to our house, I thought of talking to her.

"Hey Anamika." I called her.

What do you think? Will Anamika talk to David or not?
