The Surgeon and The Actress. (Completed)

Sick day

Ellen's POV

I woke up after crying all night to go to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror I don't recognize the woman looking back at me. The woman in the mirror looks broken and sad with red puffy eyes from crying. I stop looking and go to wake up Stells. Instead of waking up she just snuggled back into me. Which was weird because she is usually full of energy in the morning.

"Hey, baby, are you feeling ok?"

"I don't feel good momma."

"What hurts?" I asked worried.

"My head and stomach."

"Ok baby do you want to watch movies all day to make it better?" I say trying to stay strong for her.

"Ok, but first can we go to sleep I'm tired."

"Sure baby you want mommy to say with you?"

"Yes." She replied before drifting back to sleep in my arms. I decide to bring her to my room. I go to sleep as well because there is nothing else to do.

2 hours later

I start to feel a little movement in my arms and when I look down I see that Stell is starting to wake up.

"Hey baby." I say softly.

"Hi momma." She whispers back.

"How are you feeling?"

"My head and stomach still hurt and right here." She whispers pointing to her throat.

"Let mommy look," She opens her throat and I look and see white dots in the back of her throat. "I'm gonna call the doctor ok baby."

"Ok momma, can I stay in your room?"

"Yes of coarse sweetheart," As I open my phone I see all the text messages that Patrick left all the missed calls and voice mails apologizing but I don't want to hear it. I ignore all of his messages and call the doctor. I got her an appointment with her pediatrician at 12:00 and it is currently 11:30. "Hey, honey I'm gonna take you to the doctor to make you feel better but you can stay in pajamas, ok?"

"Ok" she replies in a quiet voice. We are getting out of the house now and Stella is dosing in my arms as I put her in her car seat. The doctor is only 5 minutes away from our house so we will make it on time.

Stella's POV

Mommy is taking me to the doctor because I don't feel good. We are at the doctor now and momma  picks me up and brings me in. Now we just have to wait for the doctor. The doctor and momma are talking but I can't hear what they are saying until the doctor turned to me and asked me when the hurting started. I told her that it started last night. Now she is checking my nose, throat, heart, and ears. Her and mommy talk some more before we leave.

"Hey, honey we have to go get you medicine ok, then do you want to watch movies for the reset of the day?" Mommy asks me.

"Sure momma!" I say excitedly. I start to fall asleep in my car seat waiting for mommy.

Ellen's POV

I pick Stella up to go get her the medicine she is asleep in my arms. We get back in the car and I drive home. I place Sells in my bed and wake her up so I can give her the medicine. Then we watched movies for the rest of the day.
