Chapter 6: Path of the wooden sword

Zoro's Pov

It was a warm afternoon as I walked towards Shinto's 'house' with nothing really going through my head except for the fact that I was really excited

'I wonder what overpowered techniques I'm gonna learn. Wait can I get my own harem... nah for now I just have to focus'

After walking for a bit longer I made it to the magical house where I knocked on the door and once it opened I found Shinto standing in a normal looking doorway

Shinto:"For future reference you can come in without knocking or anything"

Zoro:"Okay"

He then turned around and walked further into the house as I followed him, and just like this morning the place turned into a cozy looking cabin once I entered the house

I closed the door and only then did I realize that once inside it looked like we were in a forest when I gazed out the windows

Zoro:"This is so cool"

Shinto:"I know right?"

Zoro:"So how do I refer to you?"

Shinto:"Call me sensei"

Zoro:"Wait... really?"

Shinto:"Nah just call me Shin, but deep in your heart you should still know that I'm your sensei"

Zoro:"Riiight. Anyway what are we starting with"

Shin:"First off you gotta change, there's some clothes in the room you were staying in before"

I then went back to the bedroom I was in this morning and when I opened the closet I found a few clothes for working out

I put on a white shirt, black shorts and a pair of black running shoes with my socks matching my shirt

I then went back to the lounge where I found Shin doing something on his phone and when I looked at his phone I found him texting

Zoro:"Who the hell are you texting?"

Shin:"A lady that I met at a nearby coffee shop"

Zoro:"Woah she just sent you a heart"

Shin:"As your sensei I will one day teach you the ways of picking up females"

Zoro:"I will follow you forever sensei"

Shin and I then started laughing as he gestured for me to follow him out the back door. Once we exited the house I was met by an actual forest

Shin:"Welcome to your training area kid"

Zoro:"How is this even possible?"

Shin:*shrug*"Spatial magic"

I continued staring at the forest around me as I had only ever been to one and that was for a school trip. But my train of thought abruptly stopped once I heard the sound of wildlife

Zoro:"There are animals here?"

Shin:"Yeah this is a real place with it's own ecosystem, even if it's in another dimension"

Zoro:"Another dimension?!"

Shin:"Mhm... you ready to train"

I just nodded my head cause my astonishment couldn't be put in words

Shin:"First things first, stamina. You're gonna be running laps"

Shin then led me to a clearing with a grey boulder laying in the middle of it

Zoro:"I have to run on the path around the boulder?"

Shin:"Correct, but you must actually sprint"
