I fell in love with a beautiful girl
She lives at the book shelves of the library
She is outstanding and magnificent
She caught my eyes by her cover
Falling for her completely
Wanting to explore her in depth
Took her home for a night
And fell for her for life!!
She's a fountain of knowledge
She feeds me with nutritious contents
That I was lacking in my diet
She Makes me stronger and wiser
As prescribed by my teachers
We became friends at 5 years
Best friends for life at 15 years
My fiancé at 25 Years
And took the vows at 35 years!!
Our wedding took place at the book shelves
Announced "husband and wife" at the aisle
In the presence of Mr.Paper and Miss Pen
Giving birth to millions of beautiful books
Through our sons and daughters the authors
We are loved by the wise and hated by fools
We reveal hidden secrets to those who seek
And rewards to those who knock at our doors!!
Friends from all corners of the world
Come to feast on us,Some bought Us
Like a well,all drink Us
We heal the broken and mend hearts
Encourage the weak and uplift their spirits
We are the solutions to all problems
Doctors you all ought to visit
All in all,the unsung heroes of the Earth
We help you write and store your histories
And pass it on to the next generations!!
