Chapter twenty-five

Outside in the yard with Blaise-
The quidditch match is today and your house had been training for weeks "Blaise, are you ready for the match today?"
"Yes, all set ready to go. Are you watching?" "Um yes I think so, I'll ask Draco he's just inside, one second" Draco was walking towards you down the corridor "hey baby are you watching the quidditch match with me?"
"Hey, no sorry baby but I'm busy." He said gently "oh no that's fine don't worry I'll sit with Goyle." You whined
"Oh now I'm really sorry." Draco laughed "nahh trust me, it's fine." You got hold of Draco's hand and walked to Blaise "you coming?" Blaise said "no" "oh why no-" "Just leave it. He's not coming but I am so it's fine." "Oh okay- erm wanna go back inside and play a game of chess before the match?" Blaise said "oh sorry we've got plans before the match." You said looking at Draco "oh cool see you later" Blaise said as he walked away.

"Come on, let's go." You grabbed hold of Draco's hand and ran down to a green apple tree, your secret little spot. "I love this tree." You said "me too." Draco replied. You knew Draco was dead inside and everyday you did anything to make him feel better. "Draco." "Yes Princess." "I love you. You've got me. Forever." Draco started to tear up and he started crying "y/n I can't anymore!" He cried
"You can't what Draco? Tell me. You can tell me anything." Draco shook his head and buried his head into your chest and started playing with your rings on your hands. "It's okay. I love you Draco, that's all that matters."

An hour later-
The quidditch match had started. You and Goyle were stood in the cold windy weather cheering on for Blaise. You couldn't help but your mind kept drifting off thinking about Draco. You kept remembering 'y/n I can't anymore' and him crying. You wanted to give him a massive hug but you couldn't because you were watching Blaise. You looked over to the Gryffindors cheering and shouting and back at your side to the Slytherins cheering. The Slytherins kept shooting but Ron kept saving. The Gryffindors got louder the more Ron saved a shoot from the Slytherins.

A thought came across your head. Your mother. What had she been up to this year? You were finally getting along like a mother and daughter but what had she been doing behind your back? You got worried, another thought of Draco came in your head. What had Draco been up to that you didn't know of? That thought soon drifted away and you were now in the common room. "Blaise! You played great in that."
"Thanks y/n, where's Draco?"
"I don't know actually." You said as Draco walked in "oh hey guys, your back."
"Yeah were where you?"
"Oh just wandering, well I'm going to the three broomsticks see you later"
"oh can I come, Draco?" You asked
"no sorry but I'll see you later Princess" he replied "oh ok see you later dragon boy." You said. Draco walked out and you and Blaise just looked at each other with confusion.

Draco's POV-
I left the dorm room and headed down to The Three Broomsticks. I couldn't help but feel guilty for lying to y/n so much and for leaving her there with Blaise questioned on what I'm doing. I walked in and saw Potter, mudblood and Weasley. Potter stared at me and gave me a glare but then I soon walked away and headed through a door.

Y/n POV
"I wonder what Draco is doing he's being very secretive and odd, don't you think?"
"Yeah.. he'll be fine. Leave him be he's a grown man and probably doesn't want your nose sticking in his business." "Excuse me?"
"You heard me, y/n." "Yes I did but I think if grown old Draco doesn't want my nose sticking in his business then why does he come to me when he's down? Huh? Does he come to his best friend Blaise? No so if anyone's nose was sticking in his business it's yours." You said as you strutted away. "Er- well- I'm sor-" he stuttered "I'm sorry what was that?" You said putting your hand to you ear. "Um nothing-" he stuttered again.

1 hour later-
"Hey, I'm back" Draco said walking towards you in the corridor "what's up with you two?" Draco asked "nothing" you shrugged. Draco grabbed hold of your shoulders and span you around the corner out of Blaises sight "don't lie to me, y/n. What's up with you both?" "Ugh fine Blaise said tha..-" "well what's did he say? I'll beat him up if I have to." Draco yelled starting to get angry "no..no no. I said that I think you're not doing to well and-" "what?" He said with confusion "And he said you can look after yourself and he probably doesn't want my nose sticking in your business." "Well yes your right and I do want you nose sticking in my business so he can go back off!" "Draco..don't be like that it was nothing it's fine" "No it's not bloody fine!" He shouted as he was storming off to find Blaise "where are you going" "IM GOING TO FIND BLAISE!" He shouted miles away down the corridor "wait! WAIT!" You said desperately "please don't do anything Draco, you're being dramatic!" "Dramatic... yeah.. you're right. I should back off but I'm still going to talk to him!" "Okay okay just don't get all arsey"

You and Draco where now both in the common room talking to Blaise "why the fu-" "excuse me Draco, I have some things to do.. if you wouldn't mind" Blaise said trying to walk past Blaise. Draco barged Blaise back with his shoulder "your not going anywhere mr" you fainted as you saw Draco barge Blaise, luckily Draco caught you and laid you on the floor gently "it's okay Princess" "well I guess that means I can go do my things now" Blaise said walking out "YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE YOU ARSEHOLE!" Draco shouted "you're going to help me, with y/n and move her onto her bed and try wake her up!" "No I'm not" blaise said, Draco got to his feet and stormed up to Blaise "look I'm having a really crap year and I don't need your crappy attitude along with it so help your best friend." "Okay let me go get her some water for when she wakes up."

You were finally awake. You woke up to Blaise and Draco looking over you "oh your awake hiya Princess!" Draco said "hello" Blaise said awkwardly "what are you doing here?!" You yelled at Blaise "calm down he just helped me with you it's okay" Draco said. "Oh okay well I'm fine now! It was just a thing" you giggled trying to get up. "No your not fine you fainted!" The boys said "no honestly I'm fine I know why I fainted and I'm not going to tell you." "What? You what? I'm sorry did you just say you know why you fainted?" "Yesss?" "Now that's just weird I'm leaving before you do something weird." Blaise said walking out to go to Slughorns
