Another month goes by living with the handsome Tom Hiddleston. Though, you still haven't told him what happened a month ago when Elena called you. The feeling of keeping something from him, no matter how small and insignificant, was eating you alive on the inside. Since then, you haven't slept in the same room as him and have avoided having sex. (Shocking I know)
Robert has since tried calling your phone constantly, but you just reject the call. You'd change your number, but you've been using your personal phone number to handle Tom's affairs since you didn't have many people calling your phone in the first place.
The last you heard of Robert was last night, you answered when Tom was asleep. All you heard was Robert explain to you how he misses you and how he wants you back. You sternly answered him, "Robert, you need to leave me alone. I don't want you anymore because you don't matter anymore, besides I am in..." You pause to continue what you're going to say. For the words that you wanted to say out loud, you wanted to keep inside until you knew it was right to admit it. You resume your sentence, "... forget it. Just leave Atlanta and leave me alone!"
The next morning you walk into the kitchen and Tom already has breakfast ready for you. "Good morning y/n. How are you feeling?". He extends his his with a cup of silver needle tea, "here you go, your favorite tea dear."
"Thank you Tom." You say smiling. You walk over to the kitchen table and have your tea.
Tom walks over and sits down next to you. He takes your hand,"Y/n, I have noticed that for the last month you haven't been your funny and iridescent self. I have kept quiet about it, but I'm starting to grow concern for you. Is there something wrong?"
You hesitate and tears start rolling down your cheeks, "I have tried to get over this, but I can't. There's been something weighing on me that has not allowed me to be the person you know. I've been dying to be intimate with you and continue talking about life, our passions like we usually do; I know I became distant but that's because there's something I need to tell you."
"You can tell me anything y/n."
"Remember that evening of April 1st?"
Tom smiles, "of course I do. It was the beautiful evening that we spent ravishing each other in front of the fireplace. It was also the night we first, and last, slept together in my bed."
Tears still gently flowing down your face, "that evening when my phone rang and I answered it, it was Elena."
"Yes I remember you telling me she was having boy troubles."
"I lied. She called me to tell me that my last ex was in Atlanta looking for me to reignite what we had before."
Tom let's go of your hand and sits back in his chair unfixing his gaze from you.
"I told her to tell him to go to hell. I want nothing with him. Knowing of him stirred nothing in me."
"Is that all?" Tom asks looking down at his hands.
"No. He's been calling nonstop, trying to convince me. I kept rejecting his calls until last night, I answered and..."
Tom interrupts you and stands from the table violently, "you answered him?! When? Why didn't you tell me all this time?! I could've helped you in some way..."
His reaction scared you. "Last night when you were sleeping. I didn't think to tell you because..."
"Exactly you didn't think", he says interrupting you once more. "I'm going for a run."
Tom makes his way for the main door and you follow him sobbing, "please Tom don't go, we need to talk about why I didn't tell you. Please!!!!"
"Now you want to talk! I'll be back later on."
