"What did you just do to me?" Is what I decided to ask, out of all questions. He now knows everything about me, and I decided to ask how he knows all of that, when I should probably be running away.

"It's a curse, therefore," He stated, sighing like he's recited this line a thousand times. "I know everything about everyone. Their deepest secret, their dirtiest lie." He said with a smirk.

"You're sick." I spat, turning away to leave. As I turned, a firm grasp latched onto my wrist, which pulled my back to face Zachary. His hands were firm around my skin. So much so that I wouldn't be able to slip free.

"Watch your tongue with me, Greendale. I wouldn't want to cut it from your pretty little mouth." He spoke, almost poetically, almost like for even just a moment he had forgotten how cunning and pure evil he was on the inside.

As his firm loosened I snatched my hand away and stormed out of the hallway, my free hand massaging the spot on my other wrist in which he had threatened.

I decided to not let conflict ruin my evening as I walked down the hallway to the Ravenclaw common room. I told myself Zachary was a bump in the road, and that I'm now on a clear path.

I opened the door and slid inside, happily greeted by cool air and an empty common room. I had no idea I stayed out so late, it had only seemed like a few minutes to me.

I clambered my way upstairs and to the dormitory, where each bed had a girl resting on it. I walked to the back of the room, to my bed, and slipped beneath the comforter.

I was still wearing my plain black t-shirt and jeans, yes, but exhaustion crept up on me like a mouse in the night.

I turned toward the wall, staring blankly as I tried to imagine something- anything- other than Nicholas and Zachary. I hate them to pieces, but there's something odd about them, almost like there's something pulling me toward them.

I stopped thinking completely, knowing my brain would transfer me down a rabbit hole of thoughts. Instead, I closed my eyes and imagined a cool, black sand beach— my favorite place to be.

And within a few moments, I was no longer thinking about this and that, I was riding a dolphin in the sea green ocean.

I awoke soon, though. The morning light flooded through a small sunroof just above my bed. I groaned and looked around the room, to see an array of girls getting ready for the day.

"Good morning, sleepy head." Kiara smiled from the bed across from me. I smiled back and pulled the comforter from my body, and allowed my feet to touch the wooden floor below.

I rose from the bed and stretched, my arms sweeping from my head back down to resting position. I bent down and pulled out my suitcase, then unzipped it and grabbed out my white collared shirt, dark blue robe, and tie.

I slipped out of my previous days clothing and into the uniform. I pulled the tie around my collar then tied it into a tight knot. I tucked my wand into my pocket then looked around at the other girls.

Most of them had gone, but Kiara still remained, brushing through her cloud of loose curls. I offered a smile as I passed, though, she seemed to be much more focused on her hair.

I climbed down the steps and through the common room, then I emerged into the hallway. It was bustling with students, so many I was practically bombarded the moment I walked out.

I took a left at one of the hallways, toward the Transfiguration classroom. It would be my first class of, well, my time at Hogwarts. I had an idea of where it was, but honestly, I was quite lost.

I turned and walked toward a group of three males. Two of them had larger builds, and rounded faces. The other, in the middle was pale with styled blond hair.

I walked up to them, and as I did, I got a few questioning looks from other students, almost like I was approaching the school mafia or something.

"Excuse me, where is Transfiguration?" I asked, trying my best to keep my distance... Just in case they are the bad members of the school.

The blond headed boy in the middle stepped forward, arms crossed along his chest. "So you're the American, huh?" He asked, examining me up and down. I got a twinge of discomfort, but of course, I didn't say a word.

"My name is Anastasia, yes." I replied, waiting almost impatiently for him to show me where Transfiguration class is. I wouldn't want to be late on my first day.

"I have that class. I guess I could walk you." He said with a sigh, tossing his half-eaten green apple into the hands of one of the boys next to him. I followed as he walked in front of me, trying not to lose him in the crowd of people.

There were a lot, and a mean a lot of students around. A few of them looked at me weird, again, like I was following a criminal.

Finally, we reached the class. I slipped inside after him, watching as he walked and took a seat all the way at the back of the classroom, which I wasn't surprised at.

As more students trailed in I decided to find a seat. I weaved around the desks to the row just in front of the furthest one. I moved into a desk to the right, near the wall.

I took one of two seats, the one closest to the wall, and folded my hands on top of the desk.

As the bell rang, students began seating all around me, but none of them decided to sit next to me.

A few moments after the bell chimed, a tall, curly-headed boy with green eyes emerged through the door, his expression careless, like being late was not a mistake.

Professor Mcgonagall didn't even speak a word, in fact, she didn't even look up when he came in late.

There were three open seats, including the one next to me, but of course, out of every other possible spot, he decided to sit directly next to me.

I didn't look up, in fact, I didn't even want to utter a word. I just stared at the teacher with blank thoughts as she spoke about this and that.

"So, you ran into Zachary?" Nicholas asked, voice low. I debated if I should answer or not, but considering he is a Riddle brother, I may be deceased if I decide not to.

"Yeah, yesterday. And now apparently he knows everything about me-" I cut myself of just before I could say 'which is fantastic', due to the fact that backtalk with these brothers does not seem to settle well.

"I see. Don't mind him. His attitude is worst than myself and Tom's combined." He replied in a whisper. I nodded, and just as I did, something hit my arm as it flew onto my desk, stopping just before the edge.

I grabbed it before Mcgonagall could see it, and uncrumpled the paper. It read:

Don't get too excited, American. Nicholas has seduced every girl in school. And you're next.

I crunched the paper up in my hands before Nicholas could read it. As I did, I turned behind me to look for who could've done such a thing.

No one, other than the blond headed boy stood out to me, but it's not exactly in my nature to confront them. Instead, I slid the paper into my pocket. I'd do a fingerprint spell the moment I got out of class.
