Laying on the bed was Alhaji Umar Mekarfi and from his left was his closest friend Alhaji Abbakar kangiwa

Mami silently walked into the room with a plate of food in her hand, she gently placed the food in front of Alhaji Abbakar and spoke

"Abul hameed help me talk to hanan's dad he won't just eat his food" she complained with a sad face "you shouldn't worry you can go now I will feed him my self " Alhaji Abbakar assured her before she nods and Marched away

"I don't want to eat" hanan's dad said stubbornly "you just have to try" Abul hameed said passing the food to his friend "no, no just keep it first" "and why is that" Abul hameed said trying to make his friend eat the food "no pls let's talk first" "about what" he asked "about something very important" hanan's dad said trying hard to seat straight

"I feels it in my body that I'm not stepping down from this bed...  My days are ending here I always and always wishes to see my baby hanan grown up and get married...... But I'm afraid I can't get to be there when the time comes" he stopped  to breath then continued "I'm afraid of the type of man she'll get involved with I don't want her innocence to be ripped off her by someone " he stopped again as his voice  started to become low

" you don't have to worry, even if you're not here I, her mom and her siblings would be here to guide her" his friend tried to reasoned with him " I know but still hanan living under your family's control would be the only thing that would make my heart at ease even if I'm in my grave" he said

"What did you mean" Abul hameed asked wrinkling his brows " I want you to ARRANGE A MARRIAGE BETWEEN HANAN AND HAMEED when she turns eighteen pls Abbakar kangiwa".
