               Hanan's P O V

Life keeps moving, never stopping, events kept unfolding, pleasant and unpleasant ones, days keeps passing
good and bad ones and a lot of things have happened too. that, including me having some miss understandings with my in-laws.

Regardless, unlike most other days, today was noticeably different and ecstatic for me, I happened to woke up overjoyed, I couldn't say why exactly, but all I know was, Allah was blessing me with another blissful day in my life.

With a towel wrapped around my tall figure, as I stood before the dressing mirror, I gathered my wet hair into a messy bun, then wrapped my head in a turban using a microfiber towel. I sat on the vanity table and with ease went through the usual routine. I made myself more comfortable after I was done, then grabbed my cell phone from the dresser just after I typed in my password Hameed's missed call notifications appeared on the screen, it's 10: 15pm here, the time interval between India and Nigeria is four hours thirty minutes so it should be 2:45pm there right now.

I dialed his digits, placed the phone on speaker and stood to get something to wear and as if he was waiting for the call he picked at the first Ring "do you enjoyed making me worried" when that got to me through the phone I let out a loud chuckle with a shook of my head "say your Salam and No I don't enjoy making you worried at all, I was at the toilet" I explained simply, going through my set of baggies "glad" he suspired "seriously, say your Salam and we're you that worried, I saw you called five times" I inquired as I put a shirt over my head "Assalamu'alaikiii Aunty muffin, I was damn worried, I thought something happened to my wife, it kept going to voicemail" see this guy right now "would you keep calling me aunty muffin, I don't like it" I pouted glaring at the phone as if it was him "I enjoyed calling you that" he declared "I don't like it" I gritted "but I like it" he stays Adamant as he chuckles "ya Rabbi" I went and took the phone in my hand "don't let me change your name, you won't like it" I rolled my eyes "don't worry I'm going to like it, it's from you after all" I cringed while he laughs "Mamiiiii" I cried out stressing the word to make him know it wasn't out of happiness "Mamiiiii is mine too, how is she" he mimicked me and then asked "should I go check her for you" I mocked with a sarcastic reply "yes, you should" he said and what would I wait for, even if it's a joke, then am going, definitely going "yessss" I ululated and danced "I would call you later, I have started to like you, Awwn, thank you, I would deliver your greetings, so bye" and with that being said I ended the call, before he change his mind.

This would be the first time I'm going home after he left, Ya Ilahi, Ya Ilahi, Ya Subhanallah, I'm going home, I'm going to see Mamiiiii yeah yeah yeah. I swayed my hips merrily to the music being mentally played in my head, ya Adil I am coming, hahaha. I walked over to the closet murmuring a song trying to figure out clothes to wear.

No matter what it takes,

I'm coming home, I'm coming home

Tell the world that I'm coming home

Let the rain wash away

all the pain of yesterday

I know my kingdom awaits

And they're forgiven my mistakes

I'm coming home, I'm coming home

Tell the world that I'm coming................

I dressed in a blueback colored Abaya, multicolored beads were magically worked in a straight line on it, the leaf like designs were on either side of the gown illuminating sparkles on the dark looking gown. I paired the gown with a white colored baby hijab that was V shaped from both the front and back some small glistening stones adorned on it. The face of the hijab was round given a chubby look to my face, finally I got a white handbag and finished the look with a white flat Laura Ahman shoe.

As excited as I am, I made sure every thing was in place before traipsing out to the parking space. malam Audu Dada's driver rushed towards me with his 36 set of reddish brown teeth on display "barkan ki da fitowa hajjaju" he greeted delightfully "barka dai baba Audu fatan ka yini lfy" I greeted him back "lfy qalau hajiya, Alhaji karami ne ya kira yace min in shirya Zaki fita, dama yanzu nake shirin zan je inyi Kiran ki" he explained and I nodded at him "ay na ma shirya baba" I said respectfully as I slightly bowed my head at him politely "toh toh bari na dauko motar" he went ahead to bring the car while I waited for him right were I stood.

I don't know how to drive, but I was too excited to even think of how to be conveyed home, Hameed is indeed awesome and reasonable, if not for him I would have been wondering how to transport myself home by now.

Once malam Audu parked the car before me, I made a movement to get in but he was quick to stepped down normally to come and open the door for me but I stopped him "hajjaju da kin barni nayi aiki na ay" he said "aa dai baba muje kawai" I don't like the idea of him opening the car door for me, he is old enough to be my grand father, at least, even if it's for his age he should be respected that's the first thing I loathed in this house hold and even Hameed is used to it. I shook the thought away from my mind and got into the back seat, crossing my legs I made myself comfortable and took my phone out of my bag, typing away on it.

The car revved into life with a gentle hum and I relaxed more into the seat, waiting patiently for the car to take off, but it didn't, minutes passes and I saw malam Audu stepping out of the car, via the windows that were tinted I saw Rumaisa's Mom walking to him as she talked, I couldn't hear her and it's not like I want to, so I stayed in the car not minding to step down, they talked for like forever, before I got tired and rolled down the car window that was from my side, she was firm and angrily talking as if she would swallow her tongue, I couldn't hear what she was saying so all I did was stared with my cold looking eyes and when our gaze met she glared at me, I let my lips curved into a stupid smile and before she got to do anything Dada appeared out of no where taking a hold of her hand, he politely talked with malam Audu before dragging his wife along with him, I let out a simply sigh and rolled the window back up I don't like trouble, but it seems I have to display my true colors to get through with the people of this house
