"alright, so where do you think tadashi's ideal date would be?" you asked as you settled down on the chair, placing our order in between us.

you took off your bag and pulled a book out.  then you grabbed a pen, opened the book and started scribbling something down.

"i don't know, probably, in a park. like a picnic sort of thing." i said as i went to take a bite out of my scrumptious strawberry shortcake.

you nodded and started to write again. you looked so concentrated when you were writing. it was kind of cute.

then you looked up at me and asked, "what time do you think he would want to be there?"

"maybe, sometime in the afternoon." i stated before taking another bite.

"what about you?" you suddenly asked.

"huh?"

"i mean, where would your ideal date be?"

"i'm not one for dates, but i guess in the park- on the swings." i took the last bite of my shortcake before wiping my mouth with a tissue.

"what time?"

"i guess 1 or 2 am, it's better to gaze at the stars. but, why are you asking about my date? i thought this was about yamaguchi." i suspiciously asked

"just comparing ideas. might combine yours and his ideal date together to form something."

"oh, i see."

we continued talking for the next couple of hours, occasionally ordering more food. i had insisted to pay, but you kept on turning my offer down. you were jotting down notes from time to time and we even went of topic a couple of times.

at 3, we decided to switch locations, we ended up going to the park. looking around for a perfect spot, you eventually found one. we laid down on the emerald grass and gazed up at the sky.

i felt the presence of your hand near mine before you wrapped your pinky around mine. i glanced over at you, you were dreamily looking up at the sky. i had a perfect view of your side profile and in that moment, you looked stunning. the way your face illuminated in the sun and your hair making the slightest movement.

i sighed, looked back at the sky and closed my eyes. i just wanted to savour this moment. we were like that for a couple of minutes, enjoying the silence that surrounded us. at the sound of shuffling, i snapped open my eyes and turned towards you. you were sitting up now with your pinky intact with mine. you tilted your head towards me and gave me a genuine smile.

"i think we should get going now, i had a nice time today, tsukki. don't forget we're meeting up tomorrow at the same place, same time."

i nodded and scrambled onto my feet, letting go of your pinky. i offered my hand and you gladly took it. lifting you up onto your feet, we then left. i was generous enough to walk you home even though we lived in opposite directions. i began on the journey to my house without a single care in the world. i was overjoyed at the moment. what i failed to notice, was that someone had been closely watching mine and your interaction.
