Quinn and Santana walk through the parking lot and Quinn holds her breath when she walks past Puck and the Rest of the football players.
'So, are you going tell him?' Santana asks once they reach Quinn's locker.
'Tell him what?' Quinn asks playing dumb. She avoided eye contact with the Latina.
'That you're falling for him.' Santana says bluntly.
'No way!' Quinn exclaimed. 'In fact. I'm ending it.'
'What? Why?'
'Because I'm falling for him.' She replied quietly. 'I can't have feelings for him.'
'Well you better do it quickly. He's heading this way.' Santana said. The blonde quickly whipped around and saw the boy. She turned back around and took a deep breath. 'Q. You don't have to be afraid to have feelings.' And with that she was gone.
'Yes I do.' Quinn said lowly as she closed her locker.
'Hey blondie.' Puck says with a smile.
'We need to talk.' She blurts out.
A worrier look flashes across his face. 'Look if this is about last night-'
'It's not.' She lies. She looks around and the hallway is full of people, she can't do this here. The blonde grabs the boys hand and pulls him into an empty classroom.
'Q I'm sorry for leaving without saying goodbye.'
'It's not about that either.' She sighs. 'Just listen, okay?'
He nods. 'Okay.'
'I can't do this anymore.' She begins. 'This 'thing' between us. We always said that if things got too serious we'd end it and still be friends.'
'Last night freaked you out, didn't it?' Puck asked, even though he already knew that answer.
'Yeah.' She said biting her lip.
He sighed in relief. 'It freaked me out too. That's why I left.'
'We broke the rules last night. I know that we never officially made rules but last night, definitely broke the rules.'
'I know.' He nodded. 'You really wanna end it?'
She pauses for a minuet to think about it. She doesn't want to end it. She loves they way that she feels when she's around him, but she knows that it can't carry on. There are obviously feelings involved now. She can't get heartbroken. Mostly she doesn't want to hurt him. That's the only reason she says. 'Yeah. I do.'
'Okay.' He nods.
'You're not mad?'
'Nah.' He shakes his head. 'Like I said last night. Do what makes you happy.'
She smiled. 'I'm gonna go to prom with Finn.'
A sad look flashes across his face. 'Okay.'
'I promised him, I can't break that.' She explains. 'We always said that we would go together and win prom king and queen.'
'I get it.' He reassured her. 'I'll vote for you.' He says shooting her a wink and walking out of the classroom.
The blonde sighs. Why did you she end it?
