Lilith
Another week passed and Dalia made her daily busy treks between school and work and home. Coming back from vacation meant coworkers and fellow students and friends for the bright woman. One such friend was a school nurse who worked full time at the school Dalia worked as an assistant. The lunch bell rang and a flood of kids burst into the hallways.
When the last child scampered out the door, in walked Lilith on a pair of legs wrapped in high, plump wool socks. The nurse was gorgeous in a classic way-fair skin, raven curls that bounced over her shoulders, and a shapely figure that was already wrapped in a fur-lined winter parka for the poor weather. She closed the door behind her and lay back over Dalia's desk dramatically. "I haven't heard from my cute girlfriend for almost two days. Comfort me. Tell me she isn't cheating on me with some old fling in her family's house in some creaky little poster bed with princess sheets."
Dalia looked back and laughed. She walked over and tickled at Lilith's belly playfully. "Old flings are overrated. Plus who would want someone else when they have you?" The woman grinned. "Unless it was my Googlybear. You really have to meet him, Lilly, he's the absolute best." Dalia gasped in excitement. "How about we see him today?! It's a short day due to the snow and he doesn't work today. I'll give you all the comfort if you meet him." The woman bounced excitedly. "Please please please please please!" she begged with bright eyes.
Lilith gave a laugh aloud and sat up. "Is that man all you can think about? Tell you what-" Her eyes sparkled as she booped Dalia on the nose. "We are definitely going to see your boy. I reserve the right to judge whether I approve of him for sweet little you. In exchange, you will listen to me whine about how this girl of mine is gallivanting all over with her daughters, doing charity work in rough neighborhoods and ignoring me. Deal?"
The assistant frowned, concern in her eyes. "Aw, Lillypoo, I doubt she's 'gallavanting' as you say. I've never met her, but from what you've told me she seems really nice and sincere." The librarian smiled and smoothed a hand over Lilith's hair before pulling her into a hug. "You can complain as much as you want Lillybilly, I'll listen."
Lilith hugged her back with a pout to her lips. "She is super nice," she agreed with a sigh. "She's just started being dodgy all of a sudden and keeps giving me the slip when I ask where she is and I haven't seen her for a few days." The nurse tutted and straightened as she retracted her mood for now. "So. Tell me about Googlybear. Is he nice to you? Nice to you more than when he wants sex?"
Dalia kissed her friend's cheek and hugged her close. "Maybe she has a reason for so much secrecy. I guess I am the type of person to see good in people until the last possible second, though." The woman sighed and shrugged. "Balroy is very nice to me. I sort of asked him to wait until I was ready to have sex and he did. He was willing to wait even longer than what I made him wait for. But oh gosh golly, Lil, when I say he is amazing in bed, I literally one hundred percent mean it."
Dalia bubbled into giggles. "He's sooo nice to me and is always a gentleman." She grinned. "Unless I don't want him to be for a few hours." The librarian squealed and giggled once more. "Okay-seriously he's super awesome." Dalia stood and grinned at her friend. "Why don't you come home with me today? He's going to meet me at my place for hangout time. You can see what he's like when his guard is down." The librarian grabbed her bag and the stack of papers she was to grade. "Let's go! We can have a girl's night afterwards! Ooohhhh let's make cupcakes and paint each other's nails!"
The nurse's painted lips spread in a smile. "When his guard is down, hm? Smart lady." She stood and gave her friend a squeezy side hug. "We're going to try the galaxy design. And one sunset on the ring fingers. And we're having at least three kinds of cupcakes."
