*Aurora’s POV*
I have had my phone on me at all times, just hoping for the guy from the club to call. It has been three days and I haven’t heard a word. I am beginning to think that I imagined him. It would explain a lot, such as his insane beauty and charm. But Nat says she remembers him, and we both couldn’t have imagined the same guy, could we?
I walk through the back entrance of the Dolly Magazines building. I put my bag on my desk and take a seat with my hot coffee in my hand. I look at my schedule for today. Today is going to be pretty slow. I only have photo shoot with a band from Sydney. In the information that I have on the band, it tells me that there are 4 members of this teen band and they toured with one direction. They don’t seem to give us much on the people we have to photograph.
“Hey Rory, who you got today?” Gabe asks, leaning at the desk beside me.
“A band called 5 seconds of summer, I think I have kinda heard of them” I shrug, I will take what I can get. Most of the celebs I have photographed have been really nice and funny.
“Oh yeah, they are cool lads. Funny as” he laughs and pats my shoulder before walking away to go see what he has to do today.
I grab my camera off the stand and check to see that nothing is missing and the lens isn’t scratched. And as per usual, it is perfect.
I take a seat and wait for the band to arrive. I finish my cup of coffee and throw it away before I hear the laughter and chatter of males as the teen band walk in.
My eyes scan over the boys as they walk over to me with smiles on their face. The three that have entered look very familiar, but I can’t think of where I have seen them, it’s not because they are a famous band; it’s not that type of familiar.
The last boy walks in and I instantly know how I know them. They are the 4 boys from the bar. And the last one is Luke, he looks at the boys with a huge smile on his face and as he looks over to me his vibrant blue eyes open.
They are all wearing skinny jeans as they were when I say them at the club. I didn’t take much notice of the others after Luke walked in, I couldn’t take my eyes off him. They only difference in clothing was he is no longer just wearing a t-shirt, he is wearing a black sweeter with 3 white letters in a font that I can’t read.
“Rory?” Luke asks, his eyes not closing at all.
“The one and only” I smile, not moving while the 4 boys eyes stay firmly on me.
“Oh. I remember her now Luke. I see why you are always talking about her” a boy with green hair says and the heat instantly finds its way to my cheeks. He talks about me?
“Shut up Michael, no I don’t” Luke shushes his best friend.
“I’m sorry about these guys. Hi, I’m Ashton. Should we get this started” The boy with curly hair says, taking a step forward to shake my hand while Michael and Luke argue behind him.
“It’s more than fine. Aurora, but you can call me Rory” I smile and shake hands with Ashton.
“I know who you are” Ashton winks and calls the boys over so that we can begin the photo shoot.
I lift the camera up to my face and look through the lens at the four attractive boys in front of me. They all do their own poses. Michael sticks his tongue out, Ashton does the rock sign with his hand, and Luke looks over at the other boy while he looks confused. I take a couple snaps of that before the boy I don’t know the name of cracks a joke and they all laugh. I take advantage of that moment and get a couple of them laughing a mucking around.
“Okay, guys. Time for single shots” I say and they walk away from the screen leaving Michael. I take photos off him striking poses before the next boy and so on.
Gabe was right when he said they were funny guys. They always have smiles on their faces and are cracking jokes that no one can resist. I don’t think a smile have been wiped off my face since they walked in. I don’t know whether it’s because they are just funny lads or I get to see Luke again.
I don’t think I should be so excited to see him; he hasn’t called at all so that is a clear indicator that he didn’t want to talk to me again.
They boys take a seat on the lounge and talk amongst each other and I take it on myself to snap a few snaps of that as well before taking a seat with them. If they are done I guess I am too.
“So Rory. Tell us, do you remember Luke?” Michael speaks up and all eyes are on me, except Luke who is glaring at his friend.
“Yeah, of course I do” I smile and look over at the blonde boy. He blue eyes meet mine an my cheeks begin to burn red.
“See. I told you, you could call her” the boy with brown hair says.
“Calum” Luke hisses with wide eyes to his friend at the other end of the lounge.
“He was scared to call you because he thought you wouldn’t remember him and you wouldn’t want to talk to him. He hasn’t shut up about you since that night” Michael continues through Luke’s death glares.
Luke has been scared to call me. While I have been scared that he didn’t want to know me, he was too scared. That is ridiculous, any girl that gets his attention would be lucky. He is the most attractive guy and bonus that he is a rock star.
