"Kurenai, where are you? The meeting has started and you're still not here. We can't wait for you forever," The tattooed woman sighs heavily, looking up at the two-story building in front of her. The man on the other side of the line waits patiently for an answer but he never gets one. "Hello? Kurenai?"

"Yea, yeah, I heard you. I'm almost there." She responds half-heartedly, clicking the end call button as she stuffs her phone in the back pocket of her black cargo pants.

She stands idly in front of the small library building, deciding whether or not she should go in. She doesn't have much of a choice considering how Isla threatened her and yet she's still reluctant to go in.

She's sure she has the address correctly, feeling a bit out of place to be in Sunrise district instead of Fever district. The sign hanging above her that reads "Sunrise Library" gives off an ominous feeling. There's something about the building that draws her to it but also repels her from it.

When she first read the address of where she was being relocated, she was surprised to see that it would be at one of the top establishments MALUS owns.

All over Xenia, MALUS owned multiple other buildings besides the skyscraper that lay in Fever district. These places served as dorms-- places to send their subjects to stay at while they work on an assignment or project. This time, she had been assigned here although she had no idea why.

There were plenty of other places MALUS owned that were much closer to the MALUS tower than this building, but she supposes it was because one of the members of her ten already worked here which would make hiding their dorms and whatever is underground that much easier.

She looks to her right, then to her left, scanning the street around her to make sure no one is near before freezing at the feeling of eyes trained on her.

Quickly locating where the weird sensation is coming from, Kurenai snaps her head up toward the top of the building where she sees two people. They sit with their legs dangling over the edge of the roof, looking down at her curiously but before she can identify who they are, she blinks.

Like the malfunctioning of a video game, the figures glitch out of existence and when she looks up again to search for them, they're nowhere to be found. Paranoid, her body tenses and she reaches for a card she had hidden in one of the pockets of her baggy cargo pants when someone calls her out of her paranoia.

"Kurenai!" Yeosang calls for her, exasperated. He stands a handful of feet in front of her, right at the doorway as he waits for her to walk in. Behind him, a short girl that she recognizes instantly from the photo of her profile peers over his shoulder inquisitively. She's hiding behind him, her eyes sparkling at the sight of Kurenai's short, messy hair and tattooed skin before gushing over her.

"You're Kurenai? Like the Queen of Spades, Kurenai? You're so pretty in person and badass! I didn't know what you looked like or who you were exactly cuz your profile only had your name on it and then suddenly it says that you were dead but you're here and— Oh my god, does this mean we're gonna be best friends?"

"Candy, calm down." Yeosang has to pull the girl away from Kurenai, seeing that the tattooed woman was startled at his girlfriend's energy. "Don't you see you're scaring the poor woman?" The short girl looks apologetically, having so much more to say but holding herself back.
