My Compass Won't Lead Me Home [Angst]

Sorry folks, but some angst before Christmas time is definitely needed.

They say that no matter how long and far you roam

They say a compass always leads you home

But my compass leads me far away

To a choice, I wish I never made

I wonder if he sees the same sky I see

I wonder when he looks at it, does he think of me?

Is it selfish to think I want him back?

These questions are making me an insomniac 

If I were to see him, I don't even know what I'd say

No matter how hard I'd try, I'd just push him away

Things were so much easier when it was just him and me

when it was my biggest goal to just tame a bee

but now the bees are dead, our flowers wilted

now that he's gone, my world view is tilted

this country is now an empty place

the liveliness and hope erased

but my L'Manburg has lost all of her beauty 

the sky, the leaves, they've lost all their colours

they were once here, but now she's lost all three brothers
