[Re-written]{ No ones POV }
The music filled up the room, surrounding both of them. Sophie let her hands slide down Diannas back, resting them on her hips. Slowly dancing together to the rhythm. Both their bodies swaying intact like one.
Sophie leans her head onto Diannas shoulder, burying her face into her neck,
A little smile can be seen on Diannas lips. Taking in the moment, she hums the song quietly sending vibrations through her throat. Sophie, joining in, also begins humming it too with her.
This was perfect. The one you love in your arms, slowly dancing. Dianna wish it could last forever, but of course life wasn't fair. It can never stay perfect for long.
Suddenly Sophie's whole body weight is on Dianna, Dianna getting quickly overwhelmed from the sudden weight. Sophie slips, and falls to the floor with a thump. Collapsing onto the floor, Dianna fall to her knees beside her lover. Shaking her a bit to see if she wakes up, panic beginning to spread through her body, heart speeding up.
"Sophie! H-hey baby. Are you okay?" Gently shaking Sophie in her arms, Dianna begins to get even more worried, horrible thoughts speeding through her mind.
Rocking her back and forth, Dianna lifts one of her hands to get her phone from the table. Fumbling with it in her hand, she hurriedly slides her finger across the screen to call an ambulance. Hurriedly tapping in the numbers with a shaky hand.
Little beeps can be heard, until someone finally picks up. Not even letting the person on the line talk, Dianna starts talking into the phone.
"911 what can we d-"
"M-my girlfriend collapsed onto the floor! She isn't moving! P-please I need help. I don't know what to do!!" Shaking voice, Dianna talks to the woman on the other end. She's still rocking back and forth slowly, with the women in her lap.
"I need you to calm down Ma'am. Is she breathing? Can I get your address. I will send an ambulance instantly" Soft clicking from a keyboard can be heard on the other side.
Tears begin to form in her eyes from all the sudden emotions. Wishing the ambulance could be here right away.
"Y-yeah, it's **** please hurry!"
She looks down at the lifeless women in her lab. Her hand shaking, she lays two fingers on Sophie's throat feeling for a pulse. Dianna let out her holden breath when she felt the little pulse. Thank god, she breathed out.
"There's still a pulse.. It's v-very small, but she's still alive" This meant a lot to Dianna, knowing she was still okay. Tears began spilling, not being able to hold it in anymore.
"Okay there's an ambulance on their way, it will be about ten minutes for it to arrive. Don't move her too much. Please stay calm" Her voice was sweet. You could easily hear that she was sorry for the person she was talking to.
"T-thank you s-so much" Her voice cracking. 'If I talk more I'm going to end up crying on the phone' Dianna hangs up on the lady, throwing her phone lightly to the floor behind her. It bumps into the table beside her.
Please stay here Sophie. I need you to hold on... She thinks while hugging Sophie's body even closer to hers trying to feel some kind of warmth.

{ At the hospital }
Dianna sits on the cold tile floor waiting to hear something from the doctors. Not wanting to walk all the way over to the waiting room if something happened, she just stayed outside the room Sophie had been escorted to.
There were a few chairs down the long hall, but she didn't even have the energy to move. So many thoughts were going through her head at once.
It was quiet, but so loud too. The silence made the hall seem so overwhelming. Every second the little clock on the wall could be heard, but other than that only silence. Ever so often would nurses or doctors emerge from different rooms, but it was hardly seen.
The tile floor was cold, it just felt like an eternity for Dianna. When the only person you care for is in the hospital, then you just want time to go faster. It felt impossibly slow. Way too slow.
Why is it taking so long?! I need to see her.
Some more minutes pass by, Dianna beginning to drift away into unconsciousness. Quickly getting pulled out of it as a door opens, but to her disappointment it wasn't the right one.
A single tear rolls down Diannas cheek. She hurriedly brushed it off with the back of her hand. I need to stay strong for her... For Sophie.
A little click, and the door to her left opens up.
Dianna gets to her feet in an instant, kinda regretting the sudden movement, feeling as the room around her began spinning. Shutting her eyes from the fast movement, she tries to stabilize herself against the wall.
"You can come inside now" The masculine doctor says. They move to the side for Dianna to enter the room.
"I will let you two have a little talk. I'm right outside if you need me" They say with a warm smile, closing the door with a soft click again.
Dianna turns around in a hurry, seeing Sophie laying in the hospital bed with different kinds of wires attached to her arms. Small beeps play from the monitor showing her heartbeat.
Just seeing Sophie immediately calms her nerves. She takes slow steps towards Sophie's bed, and sits on the side taking her hand in hers.
"Hey baby... How are you feeling?" She says softly while rubbing her hand.
Sophie smiles, opening her mouth she tries to talk, but only a cough appears. Worry start to spread through Dianna, this wasn't normal at all. But once again a smile form on Sophies lips, in attempt of calming down Dianna. But anyone could clearly see all the pain hidden behind it.
"I-I'm feeling fine. You d-don't need to worry" Her voice was rasp, but she still managed to form the sentence. Still keeping the smile on her lips trying not to worry the other woman.
Dianna leans down and gives her a little peck on the forehead. Not moving far away, she keeps her head still as close, lips hovering over her forehead. She whispers "I love you so much Sophie... I can't lose you" Her voice threatening to break at any second.
A shaky breath leaves Sophie's mouth. She knew she wasn't going to get through this, but hurting Dianna hurt her just as much.
Dianna leans back again in the chair, looking at Sophie, taking in every inch of her, like she was going to disappear into thin air any second now.
Sophie just flashes her a little smile.
"I love you too"
