*Two weeks later*

I felt so bad for Teddy, Kate and their mom, they don't deserve whats happened to them. Doug doesn't deserve it. I can't believe that he's gone. He was like my second dad. I mean yeah I never met my dad but at least I'm not going through the heartbreak that comes with loss. "Teddy?" I asked my boyfriend who was currently sitting next to me. He looked at me letting me know to keep talking. "Do you want to go get breakfast?" "I'm not that hungry." "Come on you need to eat. You eat like one meal a day. Sometimes less." He looked down trying not to talk about food anymore. "Come on. Lets go." I said putting my hand out. He took it slowly and we went downstairs. We ate breakfast and then Teddy and I left for a bit. We went into a gas station so I could get a soda for us both. After I paid I looked over and saw Teddy talking to a bunch of guys that looked our age. He was actually socializing with not one person, but a whole group. The only thing was, is that the guys he was talking to looked really shady. Once we got outside I asked, "So, who was that you were talking to?" "Oh, they were just some friends." I smiled at the fact that he was finally talking to his friends again. I thought I knew all of them, but I guess I was wrong. We held hands and walked around a bit. Teddy seemed to be a lot happier than this morning. He needs to start talking and hanging out with his friends. I finally had my Teddy back. It's a Thanksgiving miracle. (A/N: In the story, its currently the week before Thanksgiving.) I have been wanting to see him like this for so long or at least 2 weeks, but it seemed like forever.

*At My House*

"Hey sweetie!" "Hey mom." I said as I hugged her. "I missed you so much." "I missed you too." "So how are the pierce's doing?" "Well Teddy was super quiet for awhile but today he finally broke out of that. He became more happy after he talked to his friends a bit." "That's great, what about Kate?" "Well, Kate has been more and more like a moody teen. But she is also still very upset. She hasn't been to school for two weeks and now it's Thanksgiving break." My mom just half smiled. Her and I talked for a bit. "Well Mrs. Pierce said we could go over and have Thanksgiving at their house." My mom said. "Awesome. Are we making anything?" "Of course we are, we are making the potatoes and the turkey." "Great. Well I'm going to go take a shower and get changed." "Okay sweetie." I went upstairs and took a shower and then came back down. By now it was about 7 PM. So my mom and I made dinner and we sat down and ate it. After dinner I was so stuffed that I was tired. It was about 8:30 so I went up to my room and laid in bed. I texted Teddy and then him and I texted for about an hour and then I went to bed.

*Thanksgiving*

I haven't really hung out with Teddy much recently. Which is okay since the last few weeks I was at his house. Today my mom and I are going over to the Pierce's house for thanksgiving. So I was getting changed into cute clothes.

*At the Pierce household*

*KNOCK KNOCK* I knocked on the door. "Happy Thanksgiving!" Kate yelled as she opened the door. "Happy Thanksgiving!" My mom and I yelled back at the same time. Kate let us in and then we put our stuff down by the couch. "Happy Thanksgiving Mrs. Pierce!" I said as I hugged her. "Happy Thanksgiving to you too." She said back. After a few moments I was about to ask where Teddy was, I opened my mouth and Claire cut me off before I could even speak. "Teddy went out with his friends, he should be back any minute." I nodded and then walked to the kitchen. "Would you mind helping with the pie?" Kate asked me. "Of course I wouldn't mind. What do you need help with?" "I need to spread out the layers and keep them even but I have to hurry." "I got it. My mom taught me well." She laughed and then I helped her with the pie. "WOW! Your a natural." "Well I spent most of my life in the kitchen. So it makes sense that I am good at it." We finished up the pie and then Teddy came in. "Happy Thanksgiving." I said before hugging him. "Happy Thanksgiving beautiful." Once he hugged me I smelled something weird. It was very faint so I couldn't tell what it was. I kissed him and I now knew what it was. "Teddy?" I said in a whisper yell. "What?" "Have you been drinking?" "What! NO!" "I can smell the alcohol on your shirt and on your breath." "Oh." "Go brush your teeth and change your clothes before your mom finds out." He nodded and ran upstairs. I can't believe he would do that. First of all, he told me he hated any kind of Alcohol. Second, He is only 17. So it's illegal. Third, How could he even get alcohol. Like I said he is only 17. Something is wrong and I am determined to find out what it is. We all had a great Thanksgiving and we spent a lot of time eating. Every year we would go back and forth on who's house it was at. Every year that it was at the Pierce house, Doug would always out eat us. Actually every year he would out eat us. We could never fit as much food in us as he did. We shared some great memories and then we realized it was getting late. So we said goodbye to the Pierce's and then my mom went out the door. "Mom, i'll be right there." I said real fast. I pulled Teddy to the side and said, "Teddy, it's killing me. Why were you drinking, and how did you get it?" "I didn't realize what it was. I drank a small sip of it thinking it was my Monster. When my friends and I went to the green flat there was a guy who must have left it." "Okay. I guess that makes sense." "So are we all good?" "Yeah, of course." I smiled before hugging him. "Well goodnight." "Night."
