We're enemies ~ Adam Banks

9: Play offs here we come

Our next game was against the Hornets. Adam has scored 2 I have scored 1 and the other team have 3 goals. The game is starting to get really choppy with people falling left and right or getting slammed into the boards. So I take that to my advantage, I watch and theirs about 4 or 5 people on the ground so I skate and grab the puck and quickly shoot. The goalie reaches out for it but missed and it said into the netting. Everyone skates in for a hug and we skate back to the bench. I watch as Averman shoots and scores. I jump over the bench and hug him being that's his first goal. After the 3 periods finished we had won 5-3 and had all gone home for the night. I was laying in bed watching television when I hear a knock at the front door so I walk down and open it to reveal Adam.

You: what up?
Adam: I don't know I was bored so I came here
you: well I am watching a movie upstairs so you could join if you'd like
Adam: are your parents okay with that
You: there on a trip but they wouldn't care anyways.
Adam: okay then
You: do you think i'm lying cake eater
Adam: for the 100th time stop calling me that
you: umm.... no! cake eater! cake eater! cake eater!

He rolls his eyes and grabs my waist before I pull out of his grasp and run off hearing his footsteps follow me until I get to my bedroom and before I can close my door he opens it and picks me up. He throws me on the bed and starts tickling me as I squirm trying to get away from him.

You: fine....I'll.... stop.....calling....you...cake....eater

I say in between laughs and he stops tickling me and smiles as our eyes meet which makes my stomach turn and I feel butterflies. He gets off of me and sits down on my bed turning to the television. I sit beside him resting my head against the bed frame before feeling his arm wrap around my shoulder. I look at him and smile before leaning my head against his shoulder. I fall asleep watching the movie.

Adams point of view

I was so happy when Savannah didn't move away from me when I put my arm around her. I wonder is she likes me back. If she doesn't play offs are going to be awkward. After the movie had finished I looked over to tell her I had to go but she was sound asleep and I didn't want to wake her but I also didn't know if she would be mad if I left so I grabbed the phone that was on her nightstand and called my house which my mom answered.

Mom: hello?
Me: hey mom did you just get back from work?
Mom: yes I did why are you not home.
Me: I umm went to Guys house I'm sleeping over
mom: okay well don't be late to your game tomorrow
Me: I wont love you
Mom: love you too

I put the phone down and lay my head onto Savannah's pillow as she moves and rests her head on my chest. I smile and wrap my arms around her before dozing off to the sound of Savannah's deep breaths.

Savannah's point of view

I woke up the next morning with my head on someones chest. I look up and see Adam there sleeping soundly with his arms around my waist. I try to get out of his grasp when I hear him mumble a no which makes me giggle.

You: Adam we have a game in 2 hours and I need food
Adam: go eat then
You: let me go then

He groans and lets me go before turning onto his side and wrapping my blanket around him. I walk downstairs and make eggs and toast before eating mine quickly and bringing some up for Adam who is still sleeping in my bed.

You: Adam Banks!

I yell and he jolts up in a panic as I start laughing and he groans before laying back down.

You: I made you breakfast because you were too stubborn to get out of bed.
Adam: thank you

He sits up and I hand him his food before grabbing clothes and changing into them in the bathroom. I walk back into my room and see nobody there but I hear the water running downstairs so I go down there quickly seeing Adam washing his plate.
