Both Ryan and Tina find themselves home after a rather unexpected first day of school, where many old and new faces seemed to be together. As the two walked, hand in hand, silence filled the air. Too much was on both of their minds at the current moment to say another word on the way home; deciding where to go next. Eventually the two parted ways and as Tina walked in her front door, Ryan was heading up the stairs and laid flat on his bed looking up at the ceiling.

Ryan "... Clubs are mandated huh?... Problem is I dunno which to choose." he sits up now looking out the window, "I'm sure there are plenty of interesting clubs to choose from, but would I really fit in? This isn't daycare anymore, I can't afford to act as childish as I did back then... but then again, maybe..."

*knock* *knock*

Ryan "Y-yeah? Come in"

Ryan's Mom "Hey sweetie, just wanted to check in on how the first day went!"

Ryan "Thanks mom it went great!"
Ryan's Mom "Huh? Just 'great'"

Ryan "Well... yeah? Something wrong?"
Ryan's Mom "Well it's normally you're just so much more excited than that. You would go into all the fin things you did and the people you met, especially now that Shark and Sabre are back in town"

Ryan "Wait how did you know about that?"
Ryan's Mom "hehe, I'm friends with their mom on facebook sweetie!"
Ryan "So you're telling me that you knew they would be there and didn't decide to tell me?!"
Ryan's Mom "Well I wanted you to see for yourself, and it looks like it worked" Silence soon filled the air once again. "So tell me, what's bothering you?"
Ryan "... it may sound childish, but I don't know what club I should join..." His face turns from his mother, thinking she would think less of him.

Ryan's Mom *sigh* and she sits down on the bed next to him rubbing his back as a mother who understands would. "Sweetie, it's not childish at all. In fact, it should be good that you don't know because it means that much more to you. Deciding on a club activity to join can be a hard task; you need to think about if you'll enjoy it, if you would want to do something related to it in the future when you graduate, what the people in the club are like... ya know, the basics"

Ryan "Geez, well if I wasn't stressed out to find a club before I sure am now..."

Ryan's Mom "I know, I didn't make the situation lighter on you, but still. I'm just saying that it's alright to be confused at the future. Give it some time, it'll come to you!" She says with a smile. "You'll see. Just think about what you want to do. Don't think about others opinions, just focus on what's fun to you" As she finishes she stands up and makes her way out the door. "Oh, one last thing, we're having meatloaf for dinner to celebrate such a wonderful day!"

The door closes behind her. The room left quiet. All that remained were Ryan and his conflicting thoughts "what do I want to do?"

Goldy "UGGHHH that was a long explanation, did you really have to go over all of it?"
Unicorn "Why of course, you don't know what's expected of you, how else are you able to perform to your best abilities?!"
Goldy "By winging it?"

Unicorn "... I see..."

Goldy "Hm? What's up unicorn man, you don't seem yourself..."

Unicorn "Why nothing is wrong, if that's what you mean! It's just... do you think... you could come over...?"

Goldy "Huh thats it? Sure, I mean it's the first day so barely any work as given so yeah!"
Unicorn "G-great, well that's just...! *he clears his throat* Well, shall we get going then?"
Goldy "Mhm! By the way Unicorn, you live with Ryan don't you? Do you think he'll be ok with me coming over?"
Unicorn "I don't see why not, besides, I'm like a guest, even if Ryan denies it I'm sure his mother will allow it!"
