Romance at The Burrow

Chapter 2

" Hey y/n!" shouted 2 familiar voices from downstairs. It was the twins!

Me and the twins have been close since we met, we pulled pranks together and just matched with each other's energy. I started to walk downstairs and when I made it down George asked sarcastically, 

" Did our brother and you finally confess your undying love for one another yet?" George asked whilst mockingly batting his eyelashes at me

" EW GEORGE! Even if I am in love with Ron, there is no way he would ever feel the same."

" Y/n are you oblivious? Have you seen the way that stupid git becomes a mess around you?"

" What?!? No way, we are best friends he doesn't feel the same! Either way, I'm going to go play quidditch with the rest of the group"

Ron, Harry, Ginny and Hermione were already outside picking their brooms when the twins and I came out. We grabbed our brooms and split into 2 teams. The red team was Fred, Ginny, and I and the Skins were Harry, George and Ron. We were an odd number so Hermione promptly asked to score keep. 

The red team was winning 35-32, I was playing chaser, I was just about to kick the quaffle when I saw a bludger coming at me at a ripping pace.

CRASH!!

" OMG Y/N !!!!" screamed Ron as he flew down to my unconscious body.

"  Wake up , Wake up, Wake up!" he continued

" What was th- OMG BOYS WHAT DID YOU DO TO Y/N!" said Molly as she came out to inspect the loud bang she heard.

I started to regain my consciousness as Molly started to run over to me. 

" My head really hurts Ron," I said groggily 

" I know I know y/n," he said while staring into my eyes, If I didn't know any better I would say he was worried about me. 

Maybe the twins were right... I tried to sit up;

" No no sweetie, don't  sit up," Molly said, she turned her head to the rest of the group,

" She might have a slight concussion, Ron carry her upstairs and clean her up."

"Ok mum," Ron said as he picked me up bridal style to keep my head lying back.

As he carried me up the stairs to the small bathroom, I winced in pain, he immediately stopped

" Are you ok? Am I hurting you?" he said with genuine concern on his face,

" I'm fine just have a dreadful headache," I said quietly while laughing

He sat me on the counter in the bathroom, the room was so small we had no choice but to be fac to face. Oh my god, his concentration face was so cute, he was taking so much care when he was cleaning and bandaging my cuts. His eyebrows got furrowed and he bit his tongue so you could see the end of it from the corner of his mouth. 

" All done!" he said with a tone of satisfaction as if he finished some long gruelling task. 

" Thank you," I said as I hopped off the counter. 

He looked me in my eyes, god I loved the cerulean blue eyes of his, they were like staring into little oceans. I glanced down at his luscious peach-coloured lips, then back at his eyes. I caught him looking at my lips as well.  He started to lean in and I closed my eyes.

" LUNCHTIME!!" Molly screamed from downstairs.

We jolted apart and I sprinted out of the bathroom and downstairs and sat at the table. The girls and the twins looked at me very confused and then something clicked when Ron came down looking very flustered. The girls just stared at me with wide eyes while the twins burst into laughter. I think Harry was just confused.

We quickly ate then the girls dragged me upstairs,

" Omg Did what I think just happened, happen?'' said Ginny,

'' Well not exactly..." I said

" Well what do you mean not exactly?!!" asked Ginny and Hermione in unison

" Well he was cleaning me up and when I hopped off the counter and we made eye contact, then he leaned in and your mom called lunch."

" I swear to god I am going to kill my mum!" said Ginny.

The twins burst in and screamed

" DID IT FINALLY HAPPEN!"

" NO !!! BUT IT ALMOST DID!!!" screamed Ginny

" WHAT THE FUCK!! ARE YOU ALL IN ON THIS TOGETHER OR SOMETHING??"I  asked concerned

" Pretty much haha" Ginny and the twins said in unison.

" Whatever I'm gonna go on a walk," I said while grabbing my book so I could go read on the rock in the field.
