Percabeth P.2

Annabeth~~~~ 

 Before I could even turn back to face my friends, Piper, Hazel and Thalia ran up to me and screamed in my ears. Now they were all jumping up and down  in a circle around me. I felt my face flush and turn red at their excitement. 

"He asked you out!!!!" Piper squealed "And you said YES!" 

"What did I tell you Annie?" Thals poked my side and retained her screeching to a minimum, while Piper and Hazel apparently didn't care if our eardrums got ruptured, as long as they could show their pure joy at my being asked out. 

 "Technically  he didn't say it was a date. It could just be two friends getting coffee," Voicing my doubts aloud, I realized that it was what I was afraid of. "Oh my gosh. What if he did just mean it as friends? What if it wasn't like a date?-"

"Stop. Hon, He put his phone number  in a CHOCOLATE BAR  for you. I don't think he would trip you like that-"

"And if he did, then he is going to be seriously f*cked up,"(A/N *whispers* I would actually write it, but there are children here)  Thalia interjected Pipers speech. 

"As I was saying, I don't think he would do that to you. He seems alright," Pipes finished with a shrug.

"For a jock," Hazel added pointedly.

"For a jock," repeated Thalia.

We spent the rest of the night playing games, eating and playing truth or dare. Piper had to draw a mustache on her face with a sharpie and Thalia had to call a guy and ask to hook up. Hazel ate five table-spoons of spicy mustard, thanks to Thalia. I had to ask some of Pipers neighbors if they would adopt me. To that, I got many . . . iNtErEsTiNg looks. The next morning we all left looking frazzled, tired and yawning. We ended up falling asleep- against our will- at 5 am. and we all had places to go, so were had to leave by 8, which only gave us 3 hours of sleep.

Percy~~last night~~~~~

SHE SAID YES!!!  "WHOOO!" I fist punched the air. 

"What is it!?" My mom waddle-walked in the room as fast as she could. 

"nOthing mom," I blushed and she narrowed her eyes, planting her hands on the hips, giving me a look only a mom could. 

"You sure about that Percy? You don't have much to be 'whooo'ing about, considering your grades,"

"Don't give your mom trouble! Just tell her," Paul, my step dad, hollered from the other room. I had confided in him about Annabeth, and made him promise not to tell Sally. I usually would have told her, but I wasn't sure how she felt about me . . . dating yet, plus she was pregnant which made her all emotional and her hormones went wack or something, and I didn't feel like being yelled at for having a possible girlfriend. 

"But what if-"

"Spill it," My mom gave me a deadly glare. 

I swallowed and looked her in the eyes.

"I- hm, uh," Why was I struggling to tell her, I tell my mom everything! "I'm going on a date with Annabeth," I spoke quickly so I couldn't go back. I looked down and scratched the back of my head. A smile slowly made its way on her face, as she took in and processed my words. Her eyes widened and she did a little happy dance.  "So. . ."
