Fenrys

This is the ToG one shot :D umm. . . its AU (sort of, like their still fae, but their just friends and nobody is royal and stuff) if that's alright, I will do more later that aren't AU's but yea. comment & vote if ya like. <3  This part might be kinda short, but i may or may not add on later (?)

Making a mental list of the books you need to get from the new bookstore, you look around the crowded square for your friend, Aelin, who should be meeting you at the local bakery before you go investigate the new bookstore to see if it is worthy. (A/N worthy of what? i don't know)

As you spot her, you wave and she smiles back at you, her mouth full of chocolate cake. Smiling, you shake your head. The light turns green and you head to cross the intersection.  Your halfway across the road when a sports car comes around the corner and is coming at you, full speed. Freezing in the middle of the street, your life flashes before your eyes.(a/n sorry this is low key cringe) You see everything that could've happened that didn't. You close your eyes and get shoved to the side so forcefully that you think your head will split open on impact with the hard asphalt. But it doesn't. (a/n shocking i know) A muscled figure cradles your body and you scramble to sit up. 

Your on you elbows, above him your h/c hair falling down into his face. He smirks up at you right as someone shouts, "Whens the wedding?!" Aelin. You blush and pull yourself up.

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean-" you speak as you offer your hand to help him up. He has long, golden hair and beautiful onyx eyes. He is much taller than you and quite muscled. 

"It wasn't you, It was that jackass driver. He didn't even stop," He gave out a breathy chuckle, crossing his arms over his chest. "Are you alright?" He scans your face, suddenly looking worried. 

"Only because of you. Or i'd be dead. Thanks," Right then, Aelin comes over.

"I ship it," She states blatantly. "I'm Aelin," she nods to the male, "And you are...?"

"Fenrys, nice meeting you Aelin,"

"This is Y/N," Your friend introduces you before you could. 

As she speaks, another heavily muscled male with silver, white hair and swirling black tattoos comes over and stands beside Fenrys.  His aura seemed to spew power, like Aelin's but a bit different. Her power was almost unbeatable, and every time someone tried to challenge her, they lost profusely and only embarrassed themselves. They nod to each other, acknowledging the others power.

"Fuck," you say, shocked. 

"Fuck what?" Fenrys asked.

"Me," You said with a grin.

"Gladly, but why should I give you the pleasure?" He speaks, looking amused. Aelin, also watching the interaction looks entertained.

"Your my mate," You put emphasis on the last word, wondering what his reaction might be.

"Fuck," 

"That's what I said, you can't said what I said,"

"YOU FOUND YOUR MATE!!" Aelin squeals, interrupting us. She rushed forward and hugs me. (a/n is that out of character? idk) 

"I knOW RIGHT!!" you bounce up and down together for a bit before giving your mate your attention again. Not sure how you, or him, feel about this, you think quietly to yourself.

Your all quiet as you walk into the Cafe and find a booth. Fenrys sits across from you, Aelin next to you, and Rowan across from her.

"So. . . what do you want to-" Fenrys starts, sounding hopeful but not pushy. 

"I think- I think that before we get officially mated, I would like to get to know you . . . better,"

"Was saving your ass not enough?" He taunts.

"hmm,  it was nice gesture but I think you can do better," You grin at him.

 "And if I can't do better?" He raises an eyebrow at You. 

"Then. . . I dunno," You shrug and take a sip of the drink the waiter placed in front of you. "Blech" You spit it back in the cup, "Its bitter," You pout down at the drink then take a bite of the blueberry muffin. 

"That was mine," Your newfound mate looks at you, trying to seem unamused, but you see a small smile on his face.

 "The muffin or drink? Cuz I want the muffin,"

"They both were," He makes to grab the muffin from your hands, but before he can, you lick the top of it so he won't take it. 

A satisfied smile on your lips, "Now you can't have it cause I licked it. So- ha," you sound childish but you don't care. If he's your mate, he has to put up and love every bit of you.

"You'll be licking me soon enough, so it doesn't matter," He speaks and your shocked that he was so blatant. You don't notice that you loosened your grip on the muffin and he plucks it out of your light grasp.

"Did you just compare yourself to a muffin?" Aelin pops in.

"And if I did? I am a snack, aren't I" Rowan rolls his eyes at Fenrys, but a smile alights both their faces.

"I'd've thought you  were a full course meal," You say.

"All you can eat," Your mate says cockily.

"haha. Very funny." You pluck off a piece of his muffin and toss it at him. He opens his mouth and lets it fall in. "Ooooh! Very nice!"

"Why thank you," He gives a little bow and and ears more muffin.

Soon enough, Aelin and Rowan broke off together, leaving you and Fenrys together.

"Let me take you on a date. Please," 

"Didn't we just-"

"Yes, but that was more of a. . . Double date," He grabs your hand, his warmth seeping into your skin. "C'mon. Please," His eyes look into yours, and a chill runs down your spine.

"I never said no! But yeah, you can take me,"

"mmm, so I can take you? I'll take you back to my place,"

"Fine. nOT like that, but I'll go back to your place.," You send him a warning look before smiling. He really was nice, You loved that though you just met him, You could be totally chill and yourself around him. Maybe that was because he was your mate, but- you still weren't sure about him. You didn't know any of his habits, If he liked to sleep around, if he would still sleep around if he was mated. You didn't like the thought of that, and frowned.

"Whats wrong  y/n?" He looked at you quizzically, his golden hair shining in the dying light.

"Nothing, nothing. I'm just thinking,"

"About-?"

"The future,"

"Out future?"

"Maybe,"

"You don't have to take me if you don't like me. I wouldn't force myself upon you, I'm not that kind of male, but I won't give up on you either y/n,"

"Thank you. Just- give me time,"

"I have time," He looks down at you, holding your hands gently, as if he might break them.

HIIII lol so im debating if I should do a time skip or kinda just make them fall in love faster or something, otherwise this is totally gonna drag out. lmk what I should do :D
