A/N: this is probably the only time I'm gonna do an ohgeesy pov! I just want to give a little background for the next chapter too.

I sat down with my head in my hands. I didn't expect her to get pregnant so soon. It's not like I wasn't happy but I wasn't exactly thrilled either. I ain't ready to have no kid. Turns out she had stopped taking her birth control a few weeks ago.

"You're not happy are you?" Allure sat down on the bed next to me. I didn't look at her. I was happy but not ready. "I am happy. I'm just not sure we ready for all this. We ain't got our own place. You're still doing school shit, come on Lulu." I sighed. I sounded like an asshole.

"You don't want this baby. Then you don't want me."

"That's not what I'm saying! We're not ready for a kid. I still got unfinished business with people. You don't know what this life is like."

"So it's the streets over me?"

"No, it's saving your life."

Allure had tears in her eyes and I held her real tight. "Your mama ain't gonna let this kid be raised around me. If you're gonna keep it you gotta leave." I said wiping her eyes. "Y-you want me to leave?"  I kissed her head. "Just a for a little while. There's business to be taken care of. I don't want you getting hurt. You go stay with Samia or your mama."

Allure pulled away from me. "It's still the streets then huh?" Before I could say anything she grabbed her bag and left. I sighed. Damn it. She just didn't know how dangerous this was now. It wasn't simple.

Flashback

We pulled up to this nice place. Big doors with the lion knockers, fancy fountain in the front, bad ass cars in the drive way. Fenix and I made our way around the grand house and tapped on the window in the back. Marty opened it from the inside.

"Alright so the money and the drugs are upstairs. He's not home so let's do this quick." Marty said with this goofy grin. Marty and Fenix were friends first. They had just got me in the game. We went in and loaded six duffelbags up. Marty knew this place, he knew where everything was. He knew where to get certain things from despite saying he ain't never been here. I didn't trust him.
"Marty you were looking out man." Fenix dapped him up laughing when we finally got back to the house. Marty smiled. "For sure man. Gotta get my boys right ain't it?" He hit my shoulder. I faked a smile. Something just ain't right. Maybe because it's my first job. Maybe cause I ain't known him long. I shrugged it off as we started moving everything up to the crib.

Two weeks later.
I was sleeping real good on the couch. Then someone's banging on the door. I groaned and yell at Fenix to get the door. "Get your lazy ass up off the couch and get the door nigga."  He answered back. I sighed and got up. The cops pushed the door in and put me on the ground. "Is there anyone else in here with you?" I was silent. You don't talk to no cops. The cop held me while three others went searching the house. Fenix came out with his hands behind his back. The oldest looking of the cops held a bag up in our faces. They knew exactly where the stash was. No one knew we hid all our shit in the floorboards. Except for one traitor ass nigga. They stood me up to my feet and I didn't resist. Everyone know that's how you get shot, doing anything really would get you shot so I did my best to do nothing.

An hour later we were out getting back to the house finally. They confiscated the shit but we had a little connect with the cops that year so we got half of the six bags back.

"Marty snitched. Who else would it have been?" I spoke up after picking up the trash that was left over. Fenix didn't say anything. I know he thought about it to. Who else could of done this. There's a knock at the door again. This time he answered it. Marty came in with this dumb ass grin. "Hey what's up. I got another job for us."

"Another job you're gonna snitch on us afterwards?" He blinked when that came out of my mouth. Marty looked at me and then looked at Fenix who looked at me.

"Come on man. I know you don't like him like that but he wouldn't do that. Right Marty?"

He nodded his head. "I wouldn't do that at all. I didn't even know the police came here this morning."

"How did you know they came this morning?"

"I didn't! I just guessed."

I crossed my arms and looked at Fenix. "You set us up." I grabbed the gun off the table and pointed it at him.

"Get the fuck out our house before I put some lead in you."
