Alejandro laid a blunt in front of me and a bottle of sprite with codeine in it. "I know you bummed out or whatever. But let's hit this." I looked at him and then back at my phone. It had been a few days since my baby momma kicked me out, I still saw my son but she said she couldn't put up with my shit no more. Mia came through the door with a smile.

"Aye mamas. How was your day?" Alejandro hugged her. I was lowkey jealous. Mia was a slim thick little thang. She had on some navy blue Adidas shirt and some jean shorts with some converses. She placed her bag on the counter and went immediately to the cabinet for a snack. She had to get something first cause that's how she was.

"It was alright. I think a lot of them don't like me though. But I'm finally settling in. I met some cool ass people. " She shrugged and looked at me.

"What's wrong wit you? Can't speak now Fen?" She peered over my shoulder and saw the shit on the table. "Oh. You're still upset about Keelah." I didn't say anything. Alejandro nodded like I couldn't see his ass.

"WELLL." She yelled. "There's a college party near East Hollywood tonight. Allure is coming with me. Y'all tryna go with me to go get clothes?" Kato came through the door. Mia smiled big at him. She was up to something.

"MALIK. Can I go to this party tonight please?" She hugged him. He raised an eyebrow. "What kinda party?" My phone pinged. I stood up after getting a text from the plug.

"Hate to cut this short. But we got roll boys." I said interrupting Mia. She rolled her eyes. She hated when we did runs. She knew it wasn't safe. But it's what we did to get by. "Ight fine. You can go Kato said. But don't be wearing nothing crazy." She beamed and ran in her room excitedly. I watched her and Alejandro peeped it.

"Yo, I see you. But that's his sister though, chill. Nigga will go crazy if he found out you using her as rebound." I wasn't listening to him. I had to get at her. And I would.  "She ain't no rebound. I just wanna vibe."

I sung as I took my shower and then got out. The boys were all gone, I didn't know when they'd be back so I invited my friend Allure over. The runs always took hours and I didn't wanna be by myself. I dried my hair and got dressed in the bathroom. Allure was sitting on my bed, doing her makeup. 
"You know Alejandro hit me up last night for a date." I paused and turned around. "For real?" She rolled her eyes because I said like it was completely impossible.

"He's hella sweet okay. I like him." She shrugged as I sat on the edge of the bed.

"Yeah, well I guess. He is pretty cute. Just don't ever live with him. He sleeps on my floor more than he sleeps in his damn room."

"If I'm lucky. He'll be doing more than sleeping my room."  She gave me that look and we laughed. "Girl, you nasty."  I started doing my makeup but wasn't doing so hot. Allure looked at me with that here let me do it face. "So are you feeling anyone at school yet? Aside from you know Fenix." I closed my eyes as she did my eyeshadow. She knew all about my crush on Fenix and how Kato would never let anything more with that happen.  "Uhm. Yeah. Sort of.  Lanni is pretty damn fine. Hayley like him too though. Said she got his number last week." She sighed with smile. "Well you're way prettier than her anyways."
