Part One Continued: The Calm

I went to bed that night , thinking about what Yuna had told me, about what if something did happen between us, that would force me to vanish. What then? Would I remain in an endless slumber?

Moonlight shine came thru the opening of the curtains in my hut. It was so bright it woke me up, not that I was a heavy sleeper, not anymore anyways . Ever since I found out who and what I was , I had trouble sleeping deep . I was scared that if I slept to deep, the Fayth would somehow tell me that this was only temporary , that I eventually would have to go.

I sighed as I slowly sat up stretching and yawning at the same time. There were voices coming from outside the hut. It sounded like Wakka and Yuna? I wasn't sure but I had to find out . I got up and walked carefully to the semi opened curtains, and there by the bonfire stood two silhouettes facing each other , their voices were very faint but I could still make up some words.

"I understand but , I just can't take off and leave like that , not like this, not this time." the female voice quietly whispered as the male voice took a deep breath and replied , " You do understand that even tho he's here, many things can and will go wrong , it won't be long till something happens." The voices did belong to Yuna and Wakka . But what were they talking about?

~YUNA'S P.O.V~

I faced Wakka with my eyes dropped down to the floor, what he said had some truth, but leaving Besaid in search of this special sphere would mean I would have to... no not this time . This time he is coming too.

"I know what you're thinking , but what if he doesn't want to come ?" Wakka was interrupted when Tidus showed up.

"I'll go." He replied as he walked towards me . I let out a little gasp , but was relieved to see him . "I told Yuna I would be by her side always and this is it.". A smile slowly formed on the corners of my lips, and nodded.
"Right , then it's settled. The gang leaves tomorrow morning ."

Wakka only folded his arms across his chest , he didn't have much saying in this, he didn't mind that he was going with us. " alright but be careful ya." I only nodded and grabbed Tidus by the hand pulling him in to his hut.

"Hey! Where you think you going little missy go to your tent!" Wakka called after us. I giggled and looked behind me, " oh Wakka you worry to much, we are only going to talk that's all."

Wakka hmphed me before turning the other way around and in to his own hut he went . I shook my head still smiling and led him inside , " So what is this sphere you need to go search for ?" Tidus asked sitting down on the edge of his bed.

I sighed and sat down next to him , " Well rumors have it that this sphere contains information about the big Great War , that if in the wrong hands, it can be used to destroy Spira.
Others say that is only misunderstood Al-Bhed information . But what I really believe is that it contains something about somebody we haven't met, and that holds a threat to Spira. All in all it could go either way, they both would be a threat to Spira."

~TIDUS'S P.O.V~

What Yuna was saying kind of made sense, crazy sense , but sense . There wouldn't be a day that would go by that Spira wasn't being threatened by someone or something . And somehow Yuna felt obliged to save it, I had nothing against it, but once , just once , I wished someone else would save it, Yuna did her part many times over , it was someone else's turn .
