it was the eve of the winter solstice. there was a meeting among the higher ups of the committee. the shivered from the cold as they looked around. the fire scarcely keeping them warm as the storm bellowed outside. "is anyone actually going to comment?" lumbered the stone faced man.

"i..how..? i thought the two of them were frozen." said the female warrior, she shot an accusing glance as the man who's black and gray hairs blew in the wind. the man's hardened glare shot back at the warrior, a sense of tension filled the room.

"they were." he grunted, "i am unsure how they got out, more importantly, who got them out."

they all shivered at the thought of it. them being out put the mortal world at risk of death. the humans would die out and no one be left. they didn't like the thought of that. the lady tended to the fire, seemingly being warm despite of the frigid temperature outside.

"shall we consult the faiths?" she murmured as her eyes stayed on the fire. the man whom was in a business suit looked at the flames and his sky blue eyes flashed in slight anger at the proposition.

"i don't believe the faiths have to be involved." he muttered.  the hearth tender rolled her eyes. "then what shall we do?" asked the blonde. his usually tan skin looked pale against the white of the snow of winter.

"we will send a team of them." the business man stated, " they will be able to do it, we must send down the prophecy, though i wish it did not have to happen."

he went into his pocket and pulled out a tattered piece of paper that was given to him so long ago. he shuddered as he read what it said out loud.

" the half bloods will trek through fire, blood and snow

to get where they have to go.

the one of darkness must look for light.

chaotic breaths must look to what is right.

love can wreck those around them to shreds.

the owl and friends must go through the land of the

dead. through the gates they will go there that will be their foe.

slain by the sword of light, will the half-bloods lead them to the light."
