Chapter 2 "Is it love?"

~Zuma POV~

I came back home pretty late, there wasn't anyone there so it didn't matter. I sat down and looked at my phone, it was 9.21 pm. I searched up Rocky Green on Instagram. I saw he had 3 photos, the first one was from 4 years ago, it was with him, his mother and father. They were happy together. "I can't believe what his dad has done to him after them being so happy." The next one was of Rocky only from 2 years ago, he was in a dark green hoodie and was looking towards the moon. The 3rd one was from today. It was him and all of us. I looked towards myself in the photo and noticed I was looking towards Rocky blushing. "Oh god, am I blushing?" I looked at the happy Rocky and smiled. "Oh Wocky youw smile is lovely. Oh wait, I'm not falling in love with him, wight?" I was talking to myself, because there was no one else to talk to. "Well he is pwetty adowable. Now I better get some sleep befowe tomowwow." I thought to myself and fell asleep.

Next morning as I woke up my phone rang, it was Rocky. "Hi Wocks, what's up? *yawn*" "Did I wake you up? I'm so sorry." "No no, I was awake. So what's up?" "Well, Chase's mom invited you to breakfast and Marshall and Skye will come too. The others can't come though." "I'll suwe be thewe." "Great, see you soon!" he hung up. I was happy, I was gonna see Rocky. I got dressed in jeans and an orange hoodie, I brushed my teeth and left towards Chase's place. I soon arrived, I knocked on the door and Chase's mom opened the door. "Good morning Zuma." she said. Wait, how does she know my name? She's never seen me before. "Good mowning ma'am." "Come on in." she said.

Skye and Marshall were already there. We sat on the table, next to Rocky, he had saved me a spot. "Thanks fow the spot Wocky." "No worries, thanks for coming."he said. Is he happy to see me as much as I'm happy to see him? Chase's mom brought pancakes and milk. "So Rocky, how was your first night here?" she asked. "It was wonderful, thanks." After breakfast we went upstairs as Chase's mom and dad started to talk, I was curious and stayed to listen.

"Mary, yesterday I went to Rocky's house to arrest his dad, but he escaped before I could get him." "Oh no, don't worry you'll catch him. We must not tell Rocky though, I don't want him to worry." Then they noticed me. "Hey Zuma, how much of that did you hear?" "I'm sowwy ma'am. I was wowwied about Wocky and I heawd you say his name." "Don't worry Zuma, we'll take care of him." Chase's mom said. "And we need to talk to you later."Chase's dad added. "What fow siw?" I looked at him confused. "We know your parents are dead. And we don't want you to live alone, so we wanted to adopt you, so you can live with us and be Chase's brother." I was shocked by the news. So that's how Chase's mom knew who I saw. "But what about Wocky, I thought you awe adopting him." I was a bit worried for him now. "We'll tell all of you soon, I promise." said Mr. Anderson. I went up and joined the others, they were telling stuff about themselves. "Hey Zuma, join us." Rocky said. "Suwe dudes." It was Rocky's turn. "Okay so not many people know this, but I'm....I'm gay. I hope we still can be friends." "Of couwse Wocky, I'm gay too." They all looked at me Rocky for some reason. "Now Skye you go." Chase said. "Well, I'm scared of eagles. How about you Marsh?" "*gulp*. I'm scared of heights." "Do you guys wanna play twuth ow dawe?" I asked. "Sure!" they all said. "Okay, Marshall truth or dare?" asked Skye. "Truth." the black haired boy said. "Do you like Everest?" Skye asked with a smile. "I-I....yeh, I do." He said. "But please keep it a secret." "Okay." we all said in one. "Rocky, truth or dare?" Skye asked again. "Dare." the grey haired boy said. "I dare you to kiss Zuma." Rocky blushed pretty hard. "I..I...fine." He stood up and came towards me. He came closer and kissed me on the lips. Everyone watched. "Rocky, why did you kiss him on the lips?" asked Skye while giggling. "You told me to kiss him!" "I never said where." Rocky turned so red and he ran out of the room. Skye followed him.

~Rocky POV~

I can't believe what just happened. "Rocky I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that." "What do you want, do you think it's funny making fun of me being gay!?" I yelled. "Rocky I didn't mean to, I saw how you look at him, I thought I could help you." "It's none of your business SKYE! Leave me alone, I need to think." I left her and locked myself in the bathroom. Why am I so stupid to kiss him on the lips? That will give away that I like him. It seemed like he didn't mind though. I started to cry.

~Skye POV~

I heard Rocky cry, I just wanted to help. I went to my friends, they looked at me. "Is he okay?" asked Chase. "Yeah...he is. He needs time alone." I looked at Zuma, he was thinking about something else. I didn't ask because I didn't want to mess things up even more. Soon my mom called me and I had to go. We were meeting later anyways so it was fine, I was gonna apologize to Rocky then.

~Zuma POV~

Skye left and so did Marshall, it was only me and Chase, because Rocky still hadn't come back. "Chase?" I say. "What awe you thinking about?" "I'm not supposed to tell, but promise me you will keep it a secret." "I pwomise." "So I'll be having a new brother, my mom is adopting a kid. I thought it was Rocky, but it isn't." So Chase knew too. "Chase I need to tell you, youw pawents awe adopting me." "What?!" "Yeah dude, I talked to them and they told me." "But mom told me he doesn't have parents, so your parents are....dead?" "Yeah." "I'm so sorry Zuma." "It's okay, I'm mowe wowwied about Wocky, I don't know whewe he'll go. Youw dad said he wasn't able to awwest his fathew." "Mom said she'll take care of Rocky." "Okay Chase." "We should better get ready, we are meeting the others in an hour, we need to get Rocky out of the bathroom."
