Keen Protagonist (Euphoria)

CHAPTER 1

/Kaleigv POV

I was here standing on the hallway, staring at a girl who's in front of me begging to take her letter saying that she wrote her affection.

"Please Kaleigv, just simply read this letter" she said with a teary eyes.

We are surrounded by a bunch of students, and again attention is all in us.

"Why don't you just state to me the word that is written on that piece of paper?" I said normally

"Just take it, I-I can't express my feelings for you—" I cut her off

"I'm sorry, I don't have time on this kind of negotiation" I immediately said then walk away from the crowd.

This kind of scene is never new to me, palagi nalang may mga scenario's dito sa school na bigayan ng letters, cakes, gifts. But as I said, I don't have time on that, I'm busy planning for my future, why do students choose to be pathetic than chasing their dreams and turn it into reality?

Yeah, maybe it's true. That we are the driver of our own path.

I was walking on the hallway and  eyes are all in me. But I don't give a glimpse on them. As I continue walking nakita ko na rin ang Room ko.

I walk inside, sat down on my chair, open my Biochemistry Book and start reading, and yes I am a Medical student since I like studying Science.

I continue reading, not minding the eyes that is on me.

/Aquilecia POV

"Leciaaaa! Ano ba? Kakain na!" Sigaw ng mommy ko sa baba, and I'm here busy combing my long beautiful shiny hair.

"Yes Maaa, coming" I shouted, binilisan ko ang pagsusuklay at bumaba na.

"Lecia? You're late. Again" Sabi ni Mommy while drinking her coffee.

" Hon, it's part of being a student. You also experienced being late in the class" daddy said defending me, she winked at me and I just smiled.

"Ayan, you're defending your daughter again. Kaya yan palaging late" Mom said while sipping a cup of coffee.

I just drink my milk and ready to go, I'm late and it's not new palagi nalang ganto. Napuyat ako sa kakaaral sa Biochemistry since ngayon ang Quiz namin. This time, I want to be on top, not top 2 but 1. I want to be the best, not the 2nd best but the best.

"Bye guys, I'll be home Early!" I shouted then walk out the door.

I continue walking till I reach our Car, nakita ko si manong Hulyo na nagaantay saakin, nang nakita niya ako ay bigla niyang binuksan ang passenger seat at direstong pinaandar ito papunta sa school.

As I arrived, sinabi ko kay manong na sunduin nalang ako ng 6:00pm dahil baka may meeting pa kaming mga Student Council, yes I'm part of it.

I am the Vice President of this Campus, so as I said. When I arrived at the school nakita ko na ang dami pang students sa hallway, maybe hindi pa ako late?

I continue walking ng may marinig akong mga gossips.

"Yeah he dumped her, pathetic."
"Serves her right, ang taas ng pangarap. What does she expect? Kaleigv will like her? Hahahah poor Caroline."

Again, That guy is the topic here in our campus, is he that famous? I know he's handsome and also a rich guy. But did he deserve this kind of attention, halos lahat ng babae nasa kanya ang mundo.
