"I am." I whispered in her ear. She stiffened at my ears and turned around.

She was searching my face for something and I let her stare. After all of this. After everything I would be an open book for her.

"Do you love me?" I asked.

If you don't. Please lie. I can't bear another heartbreak. Those thoughts rushed my mind as she stared at me.

Her big green eyes widened at the question. She had her deep thinking face on.

"With everything I have and am." Her voice barely came out in a whisper.

I smiled at grabbed her to be closer. I brushed my lips on her. I cupped her cheeks and pulled her in deeper. My 6'0" frame towered over and I kissed her with everything inside of me. Everything I felt, wanted, and needed I pushed in to the kiss.

When the kiss finally broke I reached over to the mantle and grabbed her hand.

"It doesn't have to be today. It doesn't have to be tomorrow. Or next year or in 5 years. But take this as a promise that I will be with you until the day I die. I promise to give you the best years of your life. To hold your hair when you have the flu. To kiss you when you need it. To hold you when you cry. And to never go to sleep angry ever again. I promise to always talk to you. It may take me a minute but I will always try my hardest." I said slipping the ring on her finger.

She snorted out a laugh it meant she was nervous.

"And I promise to make the bed in the morning. I promise to kiss you every single moment I can. To run my fingers through your hair to help you sleep. To never go to bed angry. To call you out on your shit. And to never mess up your drums. But I will play on them every chance I get." She said.

I threw my head back and laughed. Always a stipulation.

"I should get you your own set." I said bringing her up so our faces met.

"Nahhhh. I will still play on yours." She said honestly and I grinned.

"I love you so very much. Thank you so much for this. For everything. For you." I said squeezing her harder. My forehead pressed against hers.

"I love you too. You are my everything. My puzzle piece to my heart that has been missing." She whispered.

I literally made this girl's life hell. I don't deserve her forgiveness. I don't deserve anything she has ever done for me or is doing for me now.

Now I can say I'm glad she never did end up lying to me about how she truly felt.

If she would have told me she didn't love me I would have never chased her down at the bar that night.

The next week other then work we were at the house. We spent no time with anyone else.

It was now the night of her interview. When we got to the studio she had just started her show and we walked in while one of our songs were playing. I let the guys say their hellos and I grabbed her up in to a huge hug. I peppered her face with kisses until she grabbed my face and pushed her lips on mine.

"Hey everybody. We are back and I have an amazing band today in the station tonight. They hail from down under and have hella sexy accents. My boys, Past Seasons. How are you tonight boys?" She asked smiling over at me.

She looked so sexy with that headset on and in charge. Everyone greeted her.

Interview went by pretty smoothly. We had a blast just sitting there bull shitting for 2 hours. I stayed behind after the interview to wait for her. It was around 1am that I saw her walk out of the elevators.

She didn't see me at first and I was thankful for that. I got to admire her from afar. She was concentrating on her phone and finally sighed and put it in her back pocket. She stopped at the front desk and grabbed some paperwork and talked to the girl at the front desk. She turned and looked out over the crowd and then made a quick glance back.

A huge smile graces her face. God damn was she beautiful. It made me ever so grateful to whoever is in charge for making this woman. Her eyes crinkled and her cheeks got red as she walked up to me.

"Hey baby." She whispered softly.

"Hello beautiful." I whispered back as I cupped her cheeks and placed a kiss on her lips.

She smiled up at me.

"Wanna go home?" She asked.

"God damn I have been waiting to hear that from you for so long." I said pushing some hair behind her ear.

"I love you." I said. I had said it s million times since last night but I wasn't about to take a chance of her questioning it ever again.

She smiled and said, "I love you my sweet man."

"Let's get going." I said to her and she smiled as we walked out the front doors hand in hand.
