They both were still standing in the room, talking to each other and it was making me feel as if I was third wheeling-

Enough is enough.

This is discomforting for me.

"Mom?" I called for her who was sitting outside since Jungkook and Aera were here. 

I doubt my voice barely reached her. It came out weaker than I thought.

"I'll call her for you." Jungkook spoke, his soft brown orbs boring into mine making me feel warm for a second before he looks away and walks out of the room.

He's such a gentlemen in real life too. 

Now Aera and I were alone in this room.

I swear I felt very uncomfortable because of her presence when in my other world, her presence was the most comforting one.

She came and sat on the stool that was beside the bed I was laying on and looked at me before opening her mouth to speak.

"Whatever happened, happened for a reason sweetie." She smirked and I couldn't help but raise my eyebrows in confusion.

She definitely isn't the Aera I knew.

"What do you mean?"

"Well....this accident wasn't an accident exactly-" She was going to speak her next few words which were surely bitter because of the bitchy look she had on her face but was interrupted by my mom and Jungkook.

She realised they were walking in and suddenly turned into a sweet friend of mine. "I'm really sorry Lily......I hope you forgive me." She gave me a bitter smile and stood up to face my mom and my boyf- Jungkook.

Mom came walking towards me and looked at Aera before looking at me.

"What happened honey?" Mom asked as she sat herself on the stool Aera was sitting earlier.

"I....I just wanted to talk to you." I gulped.

To be honest mom, my heart was aching and I would've started bawling my eyes out if I looked at Jungkook and Aera standing way too close to each other for some more time.

"We'll be leaving now aunty." Aera bowed down and intertwined her hands with Jungkook's and left, after mouthing few words that I understood immediately.

'Maintain your distance with him.'

What does she mean by that?

What are you hiding from me Aera?

Did I lose my memories too?

Who are you even talking about?

Why are you suddenly soo cold towards me?

Why are you being soo mysterious?

These questions needed answers that only she could give.
