22 - Blood moon

"The blood moon." He finalised. Everyone watched as he glided through the living room. Staring at different objects. Grafton stood by the door, staring at Nessi "What have they done to you?" He muttered.
"We made her better!" Rebekah replied. 

"What does this blood moon do?" Hamish asked. Elijah picked up a marbled vase "Us vampires can't walk in the sunlight without these rings..." He informed as he lifted his hand, revealing a silver ring with a blue crystal on top.
"These rings were enchanted by witches to help us walk in the light. The blood moon is a curse, vampires will be able to walk in the light." He told. 
"What does he want with the blood moon? The last time we checked; he was human." Jack questioned. Kol sighed loudly "Not to intervene in the conversation, but it's quite cold out here!" He shouted. Rene rolled her eyes "Kol, come on in!" She shouted. Randall snapped to her "You can't keep inviting them in!" He stated. Kol ran inside and straight to the fire. 
"Dr Stevens was far from human. He is what we like to call a hybrid. Half-vampire, half-werewolf." He informed. Everyone paused "Did you say werewolf?" Lilith questioned.
"Klaus found out that originals can turn werewolves into hybrids," Elijah stated as he fixed his blazer. 
"So you're saying that he was a werewolf before becoming a hybrid?" Hamish questioned. 

Rebekah leaned against the wall "Full of questions!" She shouted. 
"Anyways. This blood moon? Are you trying to achieve it? Or stop it from happening?" Randall asked. 
"We're trying to stop it. Luckily for you, we're not the bad guys." He informed. 
"But more bloodthirsty vampires will want it, and they're on their way," Kol informed. Everyone looked at each other worryingly. 
"Can I trust the other two?" Rene asked. Elijah peered out "Only if they behave." He noted. 
"We are on our best behaviour!" Klaus replied. Rene looked back "Fine! come on in!" She informed.
"I actually can't believe this! Real vampires!" Grafton shook his head in disbelief.
"I did try and tell you..." Rene muttered as she folded her arms.
Rebekah stopped when she examined him properly "Wait a second..." She muttered "Grafton!"
"Yes?" He folded his arms.
"It's Rebekah! Do you remember me?" She gleefully exploded. Everyone furrowed as Grafton thought "Wait...from the woods?" He asked. Rebekah nodded in excitement "Holy shit!" He exclaimed. Nessi leaned against the doorframe in boredom. The next minute, Vera came storming in "We have a problem..." She informed frantically. Everyone slowly looked at her. She paused when she spotted the unfamiliar faces "The Mikealson's I presume...".
"You know us?" Kol asked as he stood up from the fire.
"Of course! I wouldn't be a good grand magus if I didn't know who the original vampires are." She finalised. Klaus rushed over to her using his vampire speed "You'll tell us how you know of us." He asked. Vera raised an eyebrow "Nice try. I'm wearing vervain." She notified.
"What's that?" Lilith asked.
"It's a flower. It weakens vampires. They cannot touch it or consume it. If a human wears it, they cannot be compelled, which is why I brought everyone one." She protected. Everyone rushed to Vera to grab their rings.
"Now, the problem we have is that vampires have entered Belgrave, and It's our job to make sure their...gone." She ordered. Vera turned to Nessi and jumped at her appearance "Christ..." She muttered as she looked her up and done.
"I'm trying very hard to lose control right now..." Nessi mentioned as she closed her eyes trying to distract herself. Rene watched as the veins began to appear around her eyes "Vera, watch!" She shouted. Nessi lost control and her fangs appeared. But Grafton jumped in front of her "This isn't you!" He shouted. The veins slowly disappeared as she calmed down.
"Who turned her?" Grafton asked in a low, angry growl. The siblings looked towards Kol "Whoopsies?" He stated with no regret. Grafton jumped for him, nearly flying through the air. Klaus grabbed him "You even touch a single hair on his head, then by God, I'll tear your head off!" He threatened. Grafton pushed Klaus off of him, then adjusted his shirt "I don't want to look at you!" Grafton cursed as he left the room.
"What were you doing the temple anyway?" Rebekah asked Kol, who shrugged "Amber told me there's a girl that I might like in there." He told as his eyes drifted to Lilith. She furrowed "Gross...you're basically dead."
"Yeah, well I still have a heart!" He replied as his hand tapped his chest. Lilith rolled her eyes and leaned back against the chair.
"So we need to get to Steven before the other vampires do?" Randall pulled back on point. Elijah nodded.
"Then what are we waiting for!" Randall followed. 

Vera entered first, but Elijah took over "Let me." He said before approaching the desk "We're looking for a Dr Steven Green. Where is his cell?" He asked. Whatever he did with his eyes, it made the police offer tell him where he was stationed "Down that hall and to the left." He told.
"I'll have the keys too, and write down that he was set free," Elijah ordered before grabbing the keys. 
"He's good," Hamish admitted to Rene before following him down the hall. Steven caught a glimpse of Elijah "Aw good! You've come to set me free!" He shouted in glee. His eyes followed the group appearing. Steven sat back down slowly "Ah! Of course, you'd be working with the werewolves!" He frowned,
"Can't say much...hybrid." Lilith snapped back. Steven's head lifted and his stare deepened "So you know?" He asked.
"You're outnumbered!" Randall informed him. Steven slowly stood up and walked to the bars "I see the key in your hand, you're obviously gonna let me out." He pointed out. Elijah opened the door and let him out. As he left the cell, the six were grabbed on to tightly. 
"What're you doing!?" Rene shouted.
"Sorry, darling, but your time here is done," Klaus muttered as he threw her in, along with the others. She rushed to the bars and held onto them tightly "You guys are so dead!" She shouted with a laugh. Klaus looked back at her briefly before walking on. 
"Maybe you shouldn't trust vampires next time!" Steven shouted before disappearing around the corner. Rene turned around and looked at the others "I'm really starting to debate if I should've killed him..." She hissed.
