Betrayed

Chapter 1

It was just another day at the scrapyard when Bumblebee got a call from Optimus Prime.

"What is it Optimus?" Asked Bumblebee.

"Bumblebee we are going to establish a new base on Earth reaching out to our old human ailes from Unit E and you and your team are welcome to join us." Optimus offered.

"Sure." Bumblebee agreed. "We'll bridge there."

Then Bumblebee and his team along with Denny and Russel went to the Autobot base at Unit E. Where they were greeted by Team Prime and Jack, Miko and Raff as well as Jack's Mother and Agent Fowler.

Bumblebee introduced his team to Jack, Miko and Raff. And was surprised to see Starscream in the base. With Autobot logos where his Decepticon ones once were.

"What are you doing here the last time we saw you you were in a coma after we saved the minicons from you?" Asked Bumblebee.

"I joined the Autobots after Optimus offered me a second chance." The seeker explained.

Then Knock Out walked in. And much to Bumblebee and everyone else's surprise Sideswipe and Knock Out acted like they knew each other and reveled that they were cousins.

And Bumblebee was happy to catch up with Raff and the rest of his human friends and they became fast friends with Denny and Russel and the rest of Bumblebee's team.

And were all just hanging out and having a good time and Denny and Russel were both welcome to come to the base anytime.

Later Russel was hanging out with Jack, Miko and Raff while Denny was talking to June and Agent Fowler.

When they noticed Starscream who was by himself and noticed everytime he tried to make conversation with anyone they gave him the cold shoulder and if he offered to help any of them with anything they quickly declined.

The humans saw the seeker's wings drop and felt bad for him. Apparently no one trusted him after his past as a Decepticon even though he was trying to change for the better and make up for the wrong he had done.

Starscream didn't blame any of them he knew none of them would ever fully accept him and didn't expect them to he just wanted to make up for his past the best he could.

"Hey Screamer I could use a hand staking energon cubes." Knock Out told the seeker getting him to smile. At least Starscream had one friend since he and Knock Out had made up.

And the two went to stack the energon cubes and chatted with each other.

"I don't think anyone other then you likes me being on the team." Starscream told his best friend.

"Hey I've accepted you right?" Knock Out said to the seeker. "I'm sure the others will come around in time."

"Yes but you were once a Decepticon too and be honest if you had been on the Autobot faction from the get go would you have even considered being friends with me?" Asked Starscream.

"Yes because everyone deserves a second chance and as the humans say there's no use crying over spilled milk." Knock Out told him.

"Thanks Knock Out." Starscream told the red medic before hugging him then shaking his hand before going to get some flight practice.

"Now if I could only figure out what milk is?" He whispered to himself before going outside.

Later Knock Out was having trouble recharging because he kept having nightmares ever since Breakdown had been captured by MECH and later killed by Arachnid Knock Out had been having nightmares while in sleep mode.

They usually played out in two ways either he would dream about what MECH did to Breakdown only instead of Breakdown he was the one strapped down about to be taken apart.

Or he would dream about one of his friends being in danger or badly hurt and not being able to save them. Tonight it had been one of Starscream getting beaten to death by Megatron. While Soundwave held him back from trying to intervene.

Part of what caused this nightmare was Knock Out felt guilty about not standing up for Starscream or trying to intervene when they were on the Nemisis. And he also felt like he could have saved Breakdown if he had just volunteered to go with him and Dreadwing when Megatron sent them to kill Arachnid.

Knock Out decided to do what he always did when he had nightmares and walk around the base to take his mind off it.

He walked around outside the base. It was a peaceful night and Knock Out quickly started to relax and feel better. He listened to the crickets chirping and noticed there was a pretty crescent moon and a lot of stars out.

Then he heard a sound. "Hoo hoo hoo." And noticed it was coming from a horned owl that was perched on a branch.

"Me that's who." Knock Out joked half to the owl half to himself. "Knock Out."

Then he suddenly got a destress signal and suddenly felt panicked thinking one of his friends was somewhere hurt but thought everyone was supposed to be at base.

"Someone must have gone out for some reason and gotten themselves hurt." He thought.

Then went back in and left a message for the others before leaving to help whoever it was.

He drove to the cornets but didn't see anyone and felt relieved that none of his friends were in troble but confused to what the signal had been.

Then he spotted a beacon and went to it and realized that it had been sending out the signal. Knock Out picked it up and looked it over.

But suddenly it started sending out a frequency that made him fall to his knees and drop it as he quickly used his servos to cover his audio receptors but whatever it was he couldn't block it out.

And quickly realized it was an EMP of some kind that was weakening him and if he didn't stop it soon he was going to pass out.

He was struggling to stay conscious not knowing what would happen to him if he passed out. But everything was starting to spin and it was getting harder and harder to focus or even move for that matter he slumped to the ground.

Now he was trying desperately to get back to his peds to run away from whatever and was trying to use his servos to push himself up but just didn't have the strength. And the next thing he knew was feeling a surg of electricity shoot through his frame and then everything went black.

Humans went over and hooked cables to the now unconscious red transformer and used a helicopter to move him after shutting off the EMP knowing he was out and would be for quite awhile.

They were taking him to another location because they had plans for him.

Hope this first chapter turned out OK I'm still working on my next chapter of Two Minicons And A Sparkling and will update that next. I just had this idea that was begging to be written. I'll try to update soon. In the meantime feel free to send feedback.
