Chapter Ten

Casey

I feel like I'm dreaming, the things whatever is happening is not real because in my 27 years of life I was never happy but now.

The spell Matt is making my life a colorful dream. With a dreamy smile replaying yesterday's conversations and  events in my mind I get dressed to leave to the office.

A hand suddenly startles me.

"Bae, come back to earth for a minute will you."

"You scared the life out of me."

"Yeah right you were not dreamingly romancing your guy."

"So, how was the date."

"Good, no the Best date I ever had."

"Babes I would love to meet your guy because I have some responsibility as a friend.". She said cracking her knuckles.

"Don't scare away My Man."

"Your Man!"

"Shush! keep it low will you."

"Ok, so.....yesterday I confessed my feelings for him and he responded back the same way."

"Aww! I'm happy for your Case."

"Thanks, don't worry you will find your one soon enough."

"So leave that all when will I be able to meet your Man."

"I'll talk to him."

"Then coffee, will that be okay."

"Sure."

Me: Hey

LC: Hi, what's up?

Me: My friend wants to meet you

LC: Why?

Me: Huh!

LC: I mean why? when?

Me: She wants to know your intentions

LC: I thought yesterday I made my intentions very clear

Me: It is not for me, it's for her

LC: What is her name? Cherry.

Me: Jina, 'Forest'

LC: Forest?

Me: Your eyes when I saw your eyes for the first time. I thought of forest hence I will only call you forest from now on

LC: I'm totally fine with that. By the way when did she join in the company.

Me: One month before I joined

LC: On which post?

Me: Programming checker. Why are you asking all these questions

LC: Simply to know whether I have seen her somewhere

Me: So......I love you

LC: Love you too

"Here is your coffee lover girl."

"Huh! Why did you go alone I wanted to come with you."

"Yeah right, says the one who was continously messaging her man for half an hour.

That is the only time taken by me to go and get the coffee. So hang on I will meet your lover boy and how he is."

"Your gonna like him for sure."

AT THE BREAK TIME

"Why are you nervous?"

"What? I'm not nervous your just feeling it J that's all."

"Cool down my girl you like him so I'm sure I will also like him."

"You know I only have you as my family."

My eyes welled up with tears while saying this.

"I'm there for you don't worry about it."

"Thanks."

My eyes are welled up to the brink.

"Casey, what happened why are you crying? You ok."

Suddenly Matt came and sat beside me taking my hands into his.

"I'm fine just emotional due to these situations happening around me."

These words seems to calm him as the worry and tension left him.

"Don't cry on me like this my heart breaks seeing you like this."

Now I get a close look on him.

He looks so handsome in the dishelved look.

"Do I look that handsome.". He asks with a smirk.

"Did I say that aloud.". I say keeping a hand in my mouth.

"Yes you did Case.". Jina says from my side.

"Oh I'm sorry Matt this is Jina my friend, family all in one package."

"Hi, Jina I'm Matt it's nice to meet you I have known about you from Casey."

"Yeah but when you came I don't think so you saw anyone sitting here except your girl, AM I RIGHT."

Matt looks sheepish now. Poor man got stuck with the lioness she may look innocent sweet girl but when real trouble comes she is a lioness.

And she is very protective about me.

"But I liked it that you have only eyes for my girl. So you have my all blessings to marry my girl."

"What J! stop it.". I flushed to a deep red in colour.

"So I have to just ask your friend, I got the permission from the important person in her life, That's good."

"Seriously, guys I'm sitting here, why are you both talking as if I'm not here."

We all started laughing. Then things went smoothly I'm happy. This is a life I dreamed about but never felt like I will be able to cherish.

"So Jina. Is there any guy I have to screen like this."

"No, not yet but surely I will bring him to my brother-in-law I have right."

"Guys you 2 are leaving me out of this conversation. Come on guys I'm the connecting link between you two."

"Awww! I love you My Girl."

"I'll just go get drinks for us.". Matt said.

"Yeah sure." we both reply

"What do you two ladies want to have?"

"Coffee with extra whipped cream and sugar."

"K.". Saying this Matt move to the counter.

"Girl you are lucky, he is perfect for you."

"Thanks J your words means a lot to me."

"For the wedding I'm the maid of honor no change in that."

"Ok done."

Wedding! the things like love, wedding and family was not there in my agenda for life. But Matt you changed this, thank you for coming into  my life.

God! I'm luck I guess because happiness being poured into my life. I want this happiness to never end.
